Crocus-A composed Clarice Cliff Stamford early morning breakfast set circa 1933/34 comprising teapot, milk, sugar, two cups, saucers and matched side plate all decorated with Crocus sprays with orange, green and brown banding, printed CROCUS and Bizarre marks. Condition-Teapot cover restored, one cup chipped, light wear and crazing.
Spring Crocus-A Clarice Cliff cup and saucer circa 1945 hand painted with radial Crocus sprays in pastel shades within graduated green banding, together with a matched circular side plate, script signature. Condition-No chips, cracks or restoration, minor wear and rubbing with light crazing to the saucer.
Crocus-A large early Clarice Cliff Drum form preserve pot and cover circa 1929 with moulded floral finial hand painted with large Crocus sprays within yellow, green and brown banding, hand painted CROCUS and Bizarre mark, height 12 cms. Condition-Small bruise to the base rim and light wear to the banding.
Spring Crocus-A large Clarice Cliff Goodden range jardiniere of footed and fluted square section circa 1950’s hand painted with large Crocus sprays in pastel shades over a graduated green ground, Gold CROCUS and script mark with relief moulded marks, height 15 cms. Condition-No chips, cracks or repairs, minor paint flakes and light crazing.
