A Worcester blue scale ground leaf-shaped dish, circa 1770, with cartouche of flowers, 23cm long/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: firing break to branch handle with a short hairline crack from it. At the other side of the handle terminal there is a hairline crack from the gap to the rim travelling to the footrim . Some light stacking wear to enamels.
A large Wincanton Delftware circular dish, circa 1730-50, painted in blue with the Mimosa pattern, 35cm diameter/Provenance: from the Henry Sandon Study Collection CONDITION REPORT: Some light chipping to the rim, the largest chip is 1cm wide, with a section of the footrim cracked and restuck in several places, 7cm wide overall, further lesser chipping.

Some light scratching/wear to glaze but enamels and gilding good.
A Worcester mug, painted two oval reserves of exotic birds within flowering branches with gilt scroll surrounds, blue crescent mark, 14cm high CONDITION REPORT: firing flaws to the rim with black kiln specks. Gilding rubbed. Firing crack to the inside of the mug where the top handle terminal joins the body and continues a little way down. Some light scratching to the glaze.

A very rare Spanish Arista ceiling tile, Seville, circa 1540-60, moulded in light relief and with coloured glazes, with a Classical male profile head wearing a ribbon headband, highlighted in blue and manganese, within a green laurel wreath and flanked by formal plant motifs in blue and yellow, 24.1cm x 13.3cm, 2.7cm thick (rims reduced)/Note: two identical tiles from the Anthony Ray collection are in the Ashmolean Museum, collection numbers WA1994.45.3 and WA2012.1.526/Provenance: from the Henry Sandon Study Collection CONDITION REPORT: neat edges to the front. Some areas lacking glaze to the face. Overall good appearance. Some minor light chipping to the moulding of the laurel wreath.
Two good pairs of Staffordshire spaniels, circa 1845-50, one pair with well-defined coats, red markings and separate legs, 17cm, the other pair in black and white, 19.5cm; together with two original Victorian Staffordshire plaster moulds, one for a spaniel, the other a figure of Napoleon/Provenance: from the Henry Sandon Study Collection CONDITION REPORT: Pair of red spaniels - one with one front leg cracked and restuckThe black pair - one with a small circular firing fault at front of base. Both pairs of dogs with some minor flaking to enamels. The plaster moulded of the spaniel (in two parts) overall in good order, there is a large chip to one edge of one of the moulds but this doesn't impact on the mould design, there is some further very minor chipping. The mould of Napoleon with a similar large chip to one edge, minor scratching and further very light chipping.
A Chinese provincial cinerary urn and a cover, Yuan dynasty, with a celadon glaze, 22cm, a Chinese tea bowl, Song dynasty, with a dark brown glaze, and a Korean stem cup with light celadon glaze, 14cm diameter/Note: the tea bowl and the stem cup were gifts to Henry Sandon from the potter Phil Rogers/Provenance: from the Henry Sandon Study Collection CONDITION REPORT: Yuan Dynasty urn with a matched cover, the cover with a small rim chip, with deep chipping to the upper rim of the urn, 3-4cm wide, one of the applied straps to the neck is lacking, chipping to approx. half of the circumference of the footrim. Brown glazed teabowl - very small chip to footrim, unglazed foot. Korean stem cup - small chip to upper rim and flat chip to edge of footrim, some typical misfiring and sanding to glaze.
A selection of Regency English porcelain, circa 1815-25, comprising a pair of miniature bottle vases of pattern 1166, 6.3cm high, three plates by Chamberlain, Coalport and Spode, a Chamberlain cup and saucer of 'Finger and Thumb' pattern 276, another rich Chamberlain saucer, printed mark, and a crested teacup/Provenance: from the Henry Sandon Study Collection CONDITION REPORT: The pair of small bottle vases are in good order. A Chamberlain's saucer printed and painted with a bird with a faint starcrack to glaze to underside, the crested teacup has some more noticeable wear to gilding, otherwise the remainder are ok other than some very light wear to gilding.
A Meissen pounce pot and a Vienna pounce pot, both circa 1770-1775, square shapes, the Academic Period Meissen example painted with landscapes and flowers beneath a green mosaic border, 6.5cm square, crossed swords and dot mark, the Vienna example painted with coloured flower sprays, 6.4cm, shield mark/Provenance: from the Henry Sandon Study Collection CONDITION REPORT: The Meissen pounce pot has some very light wear but otherwise is in good order, the Vienna example has a restuck chip at one corner and two small chips at corners at footrim, some wear.
A Meissen cabinet cup and saucer, circa 1830-40, bell shape with snake handle, finely painted with 'Green Watteau' pattern, mosaic border and bright gold, saucer 14cm diameter, crossed swords marks/Provenance: from the Henry Sandon Study Collection CONDITION REPORT: In good order overall, some light wear and surface scratching to gilding.
A Peruvian bird vessel, pre-Columbian, Moche or Chimu cultures, circa 800-1200 AD, in the form of an owllike bird with strongly moulded face and simple wings at the side of the vessel, a tubular spout and strap handle at the top, in red clay covered with a light slip, 18cm high/Provenance: from the Henry Sandon Study Collection CONDITION REPORT: With some flaking and chipping to the upper rim, minor surface flaking, minor scratching to tip of nose.
A Sèvres dessert dish, dated 1763, of Compotier Rond Gauffré shape, the saucer dish finely moulded with overlapping flower petals, painted in colours with flower sprays and sprigs, the rim gilt, 20.7cm diameter, crossed LL mark with date letter L/Provenance: from the Henry Sandon Study Collection CONDITION REPORT: Some rubbing and wear to gilt rim, minute wear to enamels at the highpoints of mouldings, some very light sanding to glaze. Various European porcelain items, comprising two Sèvres oval dishes, one dated 1761, the other 1793, a Wallendorf coffee jug and cover, puce indianische Blumen in Meissen style, W mark, a Ludwigsburg teacup and saucer, crossed CC mark, and a Niderviller sauceboat with sprig decoration/Provenance: from the Henry Sandon Study Collection CONDITION REPORT: The first Sevres dish which is a shaped oval stand with dark blue ribbon border has been later drilled with holes, there is a rim chip, some wear to gilding and very light wear to enamels. The other shaped oval Sevres dish has been cracked across with riveted repairs which run through the central cartouche, with associated repaired chips at rim, a further break running across from riveted repair and further hairline crack, with two areas of footrim chipping 2-3cm wide, small chip to gilding and enamels at central cartouche, some slight sanding to glaze at reverse, wear and rubbing to enamels. The Wallendoft coffee-jug and cover with some wear and sanding to enamels at ribbing, the cover is probably matched. The Ludwigsburg teacup and saucer with some rubbing and sanding to ribbed body, the saucer with two small rim chips. The Niderviller sauceboat cracked, restored and overpainted to handle, very small glaze chip to blue lined upper rim
