Welles thanks his correspondent for their prompt reply and remarks 'I am hoping to get to London on the 16th or soon afterwards to see your friend Mr. Levine'. Signed in blue fountain pen ink to the image, largely to a clear area and with reasonable contrast. Eastwood has added his character name Rowdy beneath his signature. Some light surface creasing and a small loss of the glossy image to the left edge, leaving an area of white paper exposed. About VG Eastwood portrayed Rowdy Yates in the American Western television series Rawhide 1959-65.

Photograph by Vandamm and bearing their credit stamp to the verso. Signed by Hepburn in bold blue ink with her name alone to a light area at the base of the image. Rare in this form. About EX The 1950 Theatre Guild production of As You Like It was Broadway's longest running production of Shakespeare's comedy. Directed by Michael Benthall it ran for 145 performances.
