RONSON; an Art Deco 'Adonis' cigarette lighter with shagreen and blank stylised cartouche in original pouch and four further Ronson cigarette lighters including a table lighter example (5).Additional InformationThe shagreen in good condition, this lighter only has light wear and has been cared for although all will need attention before they are in working order. The four other lighters have general wear, scratches etc, the table lighter particularly worn with heavy dents, scuffs to the body etc.
Three wall lights with glass shades including a foliate motif example, a further light fitting and two glass shades (one af).Additional InformationThe white opaque globular shade chipped to lower section, the other shades with fritting and surface wear but appear from major damage, further general scuffs, scrapes to mounts, will need some attention.
A pair of early 20th century cabinet plates hand painted with figural scenes, the first titled 'Prise de Valence' and the second 'Camp du D. Rap D. Or [sic]', depicting various scenes, both with pseudo Sevres marks to reverse, diameter 24.5cm (2). Additional InformationOne of the plates with scratches to the paintwork and body, light rubbing to the gilding on each.

F & C OSTLER; a pair of Victorian Gothic Revival five-branch wall lights, with brass mounts, detachable sconces and clear glass applied panels and droplets, impressed marks to panels, height 41cm.Additional InformationThe glass attachments on each fitting is with damage, one bowl with chip the second is broken into numerous pieces, baluster form is also broken on one example, the glass on each light with need to be repaired or new examples made, a couple of the brass fittings are loose.
FRANZ XAVIER BERGMANN (Austrian, 1861-1936); a good and large cold painted bronze cockerel with foundry mark bearing letter 'B' within urn and further stamped 'Geschütz 7018' to underside, height 31cm.Additional InformationThere are loose pieces to interior, a flaw to one of the smaller tail feathers to the rear of the model in the casting, so the tip is separate from the rest of the feather, missing the glass insets which would have originally have been in place for the eyes, some minor dents and knocks, light rubbing and general wear.
MARTIN J DOBSON (born 1947); oil on board, 'Great Eastern 4-4-0 on an express climbing up from Liverpool Street', signed and dated '77 lower left, 24 x 34cm, and a pair of watercolours by R.W.K. depicting street scenes, each signed and dated 1975, 34 x 22cm, each framed and glazed. E BERTHELEMY; oil on canvas, coastal scene with figures saving those escaping a capsize, signed and dated 1859 lower right, 68 x 118cm (af).Additional InformationThere is a large tear to the mid left, also a further tear to the top right, the picture has been re-lined at some stage and shows signs of old restoration at some stage and shows signs of old restoration, re-touching and over-paint, has a light craquelure throughout and some dirt to the varnish. The frame is a 19th century gilt frame with small losses.
MASSEY, FRANK; 'Portrait Sketches of Cheshire Hunting Men for 1850 to 1890', with coloured plates, pub. Heyerdahl with dust cover (sixth impression 1950 af), and further books in varied condition.Additional InformationBoth ledgers with just light wear and interior blank as stated, all other covers and dust jackets in worn condition, some heavily so, cannot guarantee all original plates and illustrations are present. Some damage to bindings, loose pages particularly to the Kon-Tiki Expedition book otherwise sold as seen.

A mixed group of ceramics comprising a small Doulton Lambeth salt glazed stoneware ewer (slightly af), height 14.8cm, an 18th century porcelain Fisherman pattern tea bowl, a Bewick pheasant no. 1226, a small Beswick bird no. 992 (af), a Poole jar with pierced lid, and a Minton's shaped oval dish.Additional InformationThe Lambeth jug has very small chip and crack to rim, the tea bowl with surface wear, light scratches and glaze inclusions. The small Bewick bird has lost its main tail feather both crazed, The Mintons dish heavily crazed but there is no ring at all when tapped, further general wear, a firing glaze flaw to the foot rim, further rubbing to detail.

A group of miniatures with four Guinness, four Harp larger, single Manns and Smithwick's ale examples, a single Bell's example and a vacant novelty miniature decanter modelled as a curling stone (some af), also two French shot glasses with applied Guinness toucan decoration (unofficial).Additional InformationSome very low levels, numerous with evaporation including the Bell's and one of the Guinness with extremely low level, another of the Harp largers with low level, the novelty decanter vacant as stated, has been opened and emptied and has pronounced surface scratches. The shot glasses with rubbing to the transferred decoration, light surface scratches and inclusions.
