An early Tunbridge Ware rosewood sarcophagus shaped work box, the stepped lid inlaid stylised tesserae flower panel on a light ground within half square mosaic borders, the sides with broad Van Dyke border, the divided interior complete with seven stickware cotton reels, needle wallet, two tesserae slide lidded boxes, but missing a thimble and measuring tape, all on rosewood bun feet.
