(174 pieces) * Some light surface wear, Carving knife has been sharpened, strong hallmarks, one coffee spoon missing, overall very good.
Frederick Tully Lott (British, 1828-1899) 'Noir Mont Point & Tower, Jersey', watercolour, signed lower right, further signed and titled to fragment of original back board affixed verso, modern antiqued gilt frame, 8¼ x 19¼in. (21 x 48.8cm.). *Well framed with acid free mount. A little minor light foxing to centre and left of sky. Otherwise in good condition, with good colours.
A good 19th century Syrian Damascus silver and copper inlaid brass casket of rectangular form, having Mamluk style cursive characters within shaped cartouches, hinged strap lid, opening to reveal cedar interior, integral spin lock, 4½in. (11.5cm.) wide. * Very good, appealing to the eye, light wear only.
A collection of twenty four 20th century wine glasses to include five red and clear wine glasses having bell shaped bowls with silvered rim and barley twist stems, along with eight smaller matching wine glasses, a pair of ruby and clear wine glasses tulip shaped bowls with cut decoration, four ruby and clear wine glasses with deep silver band depicting figures in a classical setting, along with five smaller matching wine glasses. (24) * One of the six large glasses broken, all remaining appear to be good, light wear to overlay in places.

(9.7cm.) long, weight 5.78 tr.oz. * Very light crease to bottom, small amount of rubbing to gilt interior, good.

A George IV named Channel Island needlework sampler by Mary Ann Hamelin aged 11 Years - Delancey School November 22 1821, the centrepiece depicting a large Tabby Cat on a large red cushion, flanked by amphora vases with flower sprays, interspersed with insects, having floral border, 20 x 16½in. (50.8 x 42cm.), original glazed frame. *Very good condition, light water marks, slightly faded, some stains.
A Chinese inlaid black lacquer brush pot probably late 19th or early 20th century, inlaid and applied around exterior with various hardstones and mother-of-pearl, depicting a hunting scene amongst pine trees and rocky outcrops, Chinese characters below the rim, red four character seal mark to base, 6 1/8in. (15.6cm.) diameter, 6½in. (16.5cm.) high. *Small chip to base rim and surface wear to underside. Surface of lacquer dulled and with light scratches. Small patch of possible old glue residue just below rim. No losses or restorations visible to inlays. Good overall.

Sigvard Bernadotte for Georg Jensen - a rare silver cigarette box London import marks for 1960, impressed factory marks, 'Sigvard' signature and '1035' to underside, rectangular form with the hinged lid overlapping the front, the burr wood lined interior with two compartments, 6 3/8 x 4in. (16.25 x 10.25cm.), 1 1/8in. (2.8cm.) high. * Condition: Good condition, with clear marks. A few tiny dings to the lid. Light scratching to the underside. No other faults or repairs.
An exceptionally rare original French poster advertising the train and ferry boat service between France and the islands of Jersey and Guernsey by the new line to Carteret, dated 1st July 1889. The Jersey service operated from Gorey Harbour to Carteret and Port-Bail and on to Paris, Gare Saint Lazare. The poster titled “Chemins de Fer de L’Ouest, Service entre la France & les iles de Jersey & de Guernesy [sic], par la nouvelle ligne de Carteret a dater du 1er Juillet 1889”. Featuring a main colour illustration of Mont Orgueil and colour vignettes of Corbiere Lighthouse, St Helier and Gorges de Plemont together with a route map, timetables and prices, lithographed by F. Appel and published in Paris, bears a franked French postage stamp, or tax stamp, upper centre denoting that the revenue had been collected from the printer, 46 x 31 (116.8x 78.7cm.). *In excellent condition with no folds which is highly unusual for a poster of this age. Poster shows the trim marks at the edge which suggests that it had not been displayed and had always been kept flat and out of the light.

Legge - GUERNSEY EDITION limited edition 27/75, covered in a green marbled paper, comes complete with 4 half-size prints of Thomas Phillips’ illustrations of Guernsey including maps of Guernsey and Sark, held in an archival pocket within the book cover, book measures approximately 21in. high x 15in. wide and over 2in. deep and includes some 38 reproductions of Thomas Phillips’ watercolour illustrations, which fold out from twice page size to over three and a half page size, an impressive 51in. * Very good and complete, some very light staining in a couple of places and light creasing to some fold-outs.
