circa 1953, model 2777, the signed circular cream coloured dial, 30mm diameter, with gold coloured alternate batons and Arabic numerals, gold coloured hands, centre sweep and inner rotating date setting disc, signed fully jewelled mechanical crown wind movement decorated with 'The Côtes de Genève', calibre P810/A, number 821905, with date setting pusher within the crown, case, 33mm diameter, verso snap on, numbered 579500, interior liveried, to an aftermarket brown leather strap with pin buckleFootnote: Built for less than three years - from 1952-1954 - this unusual 'calendar date' model possesses a special characteristic: a calendar feature activated through a "hidden" pusher.Rather than having a traditional date window on the dial, the watch features a marker on a rotating disk that points to the date in the same style as their legendary 'Memovox' alarm watch, introduced in the previous year. Instead of needing to make the appropriate number of rotations with the hands to set the date, each press of the pusher built into the crown advances the dial by one day.The 'P' prefix to the calibre number indicates that the movement is shock protected, but because this model was produced for such a short amount of time, nobody is quite sure whether it has a 'real' name - it appears simply to be known as 'the calendar date', and even the advertisements of the time refer to it simply as "montre calendrier".Looking like the Memovox model (because of the central disc), but much rarer, this watch is now a much sought after collector's item.Condition report: Crystal: Overall in good condition, with some light surface scratches and minor nicks as to be expected.Dial: Overall in good condition, a little dirty but with no obvious signs of damage. Some very minor spotting around the numerals and around the edge and the centre of the calendar disc. Hands in good condition with some very minor spotting, viewable under magnification.Movement: In working order, though not tested for timekeeping. Crown engages and disengages as it should, and the hands move freely in both directions. Calendar advance button fully operational. Movement winds smoothly.Case: Overall in good condition, with some light surface scratches and minor nicks as to be expected.Misc: Aftermarket strap appears to be a recent addition with only minor wear.

They are formed from the crystallisation of decomposing solutions of neighbouring rock. Clever and skilled cutting - bringing the inclusions almost to the surface of the stone - is required to reveal their natural beauty which often appear to resemble ice crystals, trees or even, as in this example, a whole winter scene.Condition report: Overall in good condition with no obvious sign of damage or repair. 1989 BMW 325i Saloon Auto - Iconic BMW E30 shape in stunning bronze - Displayed as a very original example - Odometer reading 96,000 miles, MOTd until May 2022 The BMW E30 has quickly become a design icon of the eighties. Designed by Claus Luth in 1978, the E30 combined dashing looks with free-revving motoring through both four and six cylinder models being both fuel efficient yet pacey. This particular RHD example is specd with an automatic transmission, electric steel sunroof, electronic adjustable wing mirrors, air-conditioning and showcased in bronze. Additionally, the car comes with its original Blaupunkt radio cassette player which is all working, beige cloth interior, its four original keys and has its original tool kit in the boot. The vendor exclaims that he bought the car off an Surrey-based elderly lady that had the car for most of its life (1992-2021) and who maintained it religiously through regular maintenance and by keeping it undercover out of the elements. Its history file supports some of this upkeep with its condition reflecting its pampered life. From our inspection, this 325i looks like it has been well looked after as the exterior and interior reflect care. Both the wheels and paintwork look original, with the body flaunting a deep shine. With only three former keepers, this example offers a great opportunity to buy a timeless eighties saloon which continues to go up in value. - Our buyers premium on all cars, motorbikes and scooters is 10% + VAT. - We encourage any interested parties to inspect the vehicle on our viewing days and prior to sale on Thursday 2nd December to satisfy themselves on the car's condition, please check our buying terms and conditions for cars and bikes available online or via email. - Transportation options may be available, please contact us for a quote.Condition Report: From our inspection, the car appears smart and looks like it has been well maintained with little to aesthetically fault. It also seemed to start up and idled as you would expect it to. Since delivered on site ABS light has turned on.
1963 Mercedes-Benz 300 SE Sedan Fintail Barn Find - Comes with a collection of parts - Not complete; engine for example is not with the vehicle - Tax disk indicates it was likely last on the road in 1993 The Mercedes 300 SE was one of four models that Mercedes decided to introduce their new Fintail body style to. The 300 SEs success in the luxury sedan market had moulded the car into their flagship model, aimed at wealthy clientele. When launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1961, the 300 SE was double the cost of a Jaguar E-Type. They went on to produce over five thousand examples until production ceased in 1965 where they were superseded by the 600 Grosser. This era of luxury Mercedes is now extremely sought after due to its combination of aesthetic extravagance with matching performance from its 3-litre fuel-injected engine which produced 170BHP. This example from our checks was originally grey but has clearly been sitting for a number of years with parts being taken out. For example the vehicle is without its engine or transmission. It does however come with a large array of spares including an additional front grille, bumpers and trim alongside light clusters. Ewbanks encourages any interested parties to come to take a look at the vehicle on our viewing days prior to the sale and request a condition report to gain insight into the cars state. There is no doubt this would make a great restoration project with fully restored examples meeting high results at auction. Alternatively the car offers a great donor to another project. - Transportation options may be available, please contact us for a quote.Condition Report: Extensive corrosion on most panels of the car. Windscreen is cracked. Engine, drivers side door and transmission are not with the car and could have more missing mechanically parts. Interior looks decayed but seats have held up reasonably well from storage - they would obviously care for a refurb however. Vehicle does come with an array of parts in the boot of the vehicle and the back seat. For example another front grille, taillight clusters and bumper parts are all visible. Vehicle has no history apart from its V5c which shows 4 former keepers. Clearly the vehicle would require a serious restoration to bring it back to drivability, however, the parts should hold some considerable value due to the rarity of these examples to any sixties Mercedes enthusiast.
