A pair of Chinese jumu (elmwood) rectangular plant stands, the timber of a light amber tone, the aprons with openwork flattened oval panels above scrolls, the square legs with cross stretchers above feet enclosing openwork rectangular designs, probably Suzhou c.1890. 77cm high x 40.5cm wide x 28cm deep. A Rolls Royce 1979 Silver Shadow II in two-tone peacock blue over shell grey, the interior leather light blue, piped in dark blue. This car, supplied by Dutton Foreshaw, Preston, Ltd. had the option of front headrests, a microphone to the tape machine and hide-trimmed top roll and instrument board. The speedometer was changed in 1988 when reading 14,673. It now reads 12,164. Mr. Jones acquired the car in 2005 from Hanwell Car Centre, Rolls Royce specialists of London. Though this is not a restored car its condition is commensurate with its mileage.

[N.p.: n.d. but circa 1860-1880.] Containing mostly albumen-print carte-de-visite (a few hand-coloured) and cabinet cards depicting various royalty, including Queen Victoria and Her family and Russian royalty, also including some mounted albumen-print photographs of related interest. I should never have dared to offer you… Praed', on a Tuck's 'Oilette' postcard colour printed with a titled view 'Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire'. (Minor corner and edge knock, light browning).
