HARDY; an alloy 3 5/8" 'Angel' fly reel numbered A10180, in near mint condition with soft case and original card box with small booklet.Additional InformationThis reel, if it has been used, could only have been used once or twice as there is so minimal wear. There are a few surface marks through handling and a couple of light surface scratches, but overall in very good condition. The outer box is labelled for a 3 3/4" 'Perfect', so is associated.

BELDRAY; a pair of Art Nouveau brass cylindrical vases, height 33cm, a miniature tripod table, and two paperweights including a Strathearn millefiori example.Additional InformationThe metalware with general wear, minor tarnishing and dents, the Strathearn paperweight with very minimal nibbles to the rim. The Victorian dump weight with light scratches.
HOUGHTON, REV. W; 'British Fresh-Water Fishes', two volumes with illustrations by A.F. Lydon and numerous engravings, pub. William Mackenzie, London, in gilt tooled boards (2).Additional InformationSome light scuffing to corners and edges, volume 2 more heavily so with some splitting to the covering around the top and base of the spine and lower right front corner. Some yellowing to page edges and further general wear. All the plates appear present, there is minor foxing and light staining to the books, there is no date printed in either volume or indication that these are from a particular edition, certainly from the bindings and details, etc, these are late 19th century. There are twenty one plates in one volume and twenty plates in the other.

There is an area of old outlining to the woman's left shoulder when the image is viewed straight on, which indicated the artist had a change of mind in positioning, this is visible when viewing the finished article. Some general light browning and further general wear.

J LESLIE; a pair of oils on canvas, mountainous river and lake landscapes, both signed, 20 x 40cm, framed.Additional InformationBoth are very dirty and would benefit from a clean, some light craquelure to both and also some slight impression where the stretchers have pushed against the canvas.
HAYNES KING (1831-1904); oil on canvas, 'The Morning Paper', signed and inscribed on label verso, 45 x 35cm, framed.Additional InformationThe picture has been re-lined, there is some surface marks and a few areas of touch up under UV light, overall in good condition. Frame has damage upper right, further splits and general wear, size including frame 60.5 x 52cm, there are no tears or holes, the painting is not visibly dated. Areas of touch up include the lady's cheek and left hand, there is craqulure throughout. The paint is stable.
SIR DAVID MURRAY RA (Scottish 1849-1933); oil on canvas, landscape with cattle upon a raised riverbank with river in foreground, signed and dated '91, bearing faint stencil mark along with C.M. May Gilder and Picture Frame Manufacturer label and traces of further labels, 45 x 60cm, glazed and in good period carved gilded frame.Additional InformationIt is in good original condition, it has been in the same collection for many years. Being behind glass, it has retained strong colours and free from damage. May benefit from a light clean, a couple of small marks to the sky. There are a couple of tiny losses to the frame.

There is light craquelure and a few spots of detritus, the frame is more modern.
