An Art Nouveau silver purse, Sampson Mordan & Co, London 1907, of rectangular form, the hinged cover embossed with a sprouting floral branch, Rd. No 428858, black fabric lining, upon a belcher link chain with plain polished ring, 10.5cm x 7.2cm, weight 2.77oztCR; Some light denting to the corners and sides. Moderate scratching and wear throughout, commensurate with age and use. Some loss of definition to the embossed details. Some minor splitting to the case where the chain meets the case. Cover opens smoothly and closes with a snap, but does not sit completely flush to the sides, leaving slight gaps. The black fabric lining is pulling away from the sides slightly, and a few pulls and snags. The chain is in good order, no major denting, misshaping, splitting or repair - general scratching and wear between contact points, commensurate with age and use.
A pair of Cartier 'C de Cartier' 18ct gold earrings, modelled as interlocking C motifs, signed Cartier, numbered '779580', post fittings, length 21mm, weight 12.6gms, complete in box with certificate of authenticity CR: Good order. Both earrings show light scratching and wear, commensurate with age and use. No denting, thinning or splitting, no signs of repair. Both earring backs are in good order and appear secure. Willems (G), LES ANCETRES DE MES ENFANTS [The Ancestors Of My Children], an extensive typewritten and hand-illustrated genealogical history containing family trees, family crests and descriptive text relating to a French family with noble roots, 2 vols, three quarter leather, gilt embossed title and decoration to spines, marbled endpapers (2) (at fault) CONDITION REPORT:Both volumes show wear to the bindings, including scuffs and scratches to the spines, and shelf wear to corners and leading edges of the boards. All pages show some age-related darkening and some also show areas of light foxing. Both title pages show foxing down the right edge. Some pages show bleeding from the red block edge. Page 1 is loose in volume I, and shows chips to the right hand edge. PP2-5 are also partially detached.

The odd piece shows some surface staining or cutlery marks. One of the milk jugs shows a loss to the base.
An English 18th century glass wine bottle, of bladder shape and of olive green colour, 17cm highCR; The marks to the shoulder visible in the second pictures is a waxy residue, which should be removable with cleaning. There is a large nick to the rim - see pictures for illustration. The broken pontil to the kick base is quite deep - see pictures for illustration. The is very heavy scratching and wear throughout the bottle. There is a large burst bubble the the interior of the glass on one corner. There is a peppering of small burst bubbles on the surface throughout the body, mostly concentrated on the neck. It is difficult to assess the interior of the bottle, owing to the thickness of the glass, it's dark colour, and a large build up of residue on the interior, which does not permit much light through. The record is in clean Ex condition showing a couple of light and minor surface marks, these never at all heavier in nature.
BOBBY ROBERTS WITH HIGHPOCKETS' DELTA ROCKETS - BIG SANDY 7" (SKY RECORDS 56-101 - ORIGINAL US RECORDING). Huge rarity from Bobby Roberts with the fantastically named backing band the Highpockets' Delta Rockets with this major double header Big Sandy c/w She's My Woman. Original US pressing on Sky Records (56-101). The record is in very well presented VG+ condition - the playing surfaces lovely clean and glossy, there are only a few light and minor surface marks which never extend any heavier than this. Clean and well presented labels which appear to be dated 6/7/56.
HOWARD PERKINS AND HIS KOUNTRY KINFOLK - IT'S A CRYIN' SHAME 7" (SHAWNEE 534 - ORIGINAL US RECORDING). A top Hillbilly double-header from Howard Perkins And His Kountry Kinfolk with It's A Cryin' Shame c/w Lovin' Baby - this the exceedingly hard to find original US copy on Shawnee Records. The record (45-102) is in solid VG condition showing only a couple of very faint and wispy marks, with a light edge warp that does not cause any disturbance to playback.
