A Vic RN officer’s sword, slightly curved, fullered blade 31½” by E&W Seagrove, Hard, Portsea, etched on one side with crowned R Arms with supporters and motto, and crowned fouled anchor on the other, in scrolled panels, regulation solid half basket hilt, the guard incorporating crowned fouled anchor and with turn down inner portion, lion’s head pommel and backstrap, wirebound sharkskin grip (no scabbard). GC, the hilt retaining much original gilt (minor wear and light pitting stains to blade).

An early 20th century continental infantry officer’s sword, pipe back blade 31”, etched with a star, coat of arms and foliate panels inscribed “Faderneslandet” and”Konunger”, the gilt brass hilt having lion’s head pommel, the guard pierced with scrolls and flowers and with crowned “M” (?) cypher, with wire bound sharkskin covered grip, in its plated steel scabbard. GC (small patches of light pitting to blade, grip wire AF, patches of wear to scabbard). See inside back cover

A good 10 bore private purchase flintlock musket of the Honourable Artillery Company, by Stevens, 58½” overall, barrel 42” engraved “Wilson”, with break off breech and Tower private proofs; signed flat stepped lock with swan neck cock and roller on frizzen spring; walnut fullstock with regulation brass mounts and large flat sideplate, the butt plate tang engraved “HAC”, the escutcheon with owner’s foliate initials “BCB”; with single sling swivel and original steel ramrod engraved “CLS” and numbered “46” (?).
