A split form seed vase, with pierced decoration, signed, 'AW', 10.5cms high. Also with a small raku signed vase with multi coloured glaze (9.5cms high). (2). *Condition: Wallwork, possibly one small chip to the inside of the rim, otherwise seems fine. Raku, good condition.
Including a trumpet shaped red glass vase, mounted with a pewter base, stamped 'Tudric D G Ware, 3008' (22.5cms high). Also with a pedestal pewter bowl with red glass interior, stamped 'Tudric, D G Ware, 3014 (18.5cms diameter). (2). *Condition: Vase, body seems generally fine, base has a few marks and scratches, small indentation to the side of the base. Bowl, seems in good condition.
Three black burnished vases including a large vase of waisted form (25cms high), a small vase with incised line to each side (15cms high), and a vase of globular shape with lug handles (16cms high). Each with impressed marks, two by John Leach and one by Mark Melbourne, two dated 1998. A mixed lot including a bottle shaped vase with criss cross design to each side (20cms high), a pedestal bowl with spiral design (14.5cms high), another bowl (16.5cms diameter), and two yunomi (8.5cms and 8cms high). Each with impressed marks, four by John Leach (all dated 98) and one by Mark Melbourne. A bottle shaped vase painted with a Persian style design of flowers and leaves. Marked, 'Zsolnay Pecs'. 28cms high. *Condition: Very tiny hairline to the side of the rim and mark inside the rim (probably from manufacture), general crazing. The top section of the vase has possibly been off and reglued at some stage, the glue has run a little in spots.
A slender vase with a wide rim and with a green and brown mottled colour, signed to the base with initials 'VSL' (24.5cms high). Also with an Italian glass vase of triangular form with curved rim, with a yellow, black and blue striped body and other bands of colour, with original stick on label 'Yvolux', 21cms high., and a slender iridescent glass vase (unmarked, 25cms high). (3). *Condition: Val St Lambert, good condition Yvolux, seems generally fine and rings nicely, the base has some wear and small chip around the pontil, Iridescent vase, seems fine, the inside of the rim has a small area which looks a little different, but I think this is from manufacture.
Four items of modern Moorcroft pottery including a vase in the Mustard Honeysuckle pattern (21cms high, 2008, marked for Emma Bossons), a large jug in the Grape Vine pattern (31.5cms high, 2012, signed by Vicky Lovatt), vase in the Anna Lily pattern (19.5cms high, 98), and a vase in the Apollo Butterfly pattern (15.5cms high, second quality, 2005). (4). *Condition: All seem in good condition, Apollo Butterfly is marked with a red dot so second quality.
Including a large slender vase in the 'Poppy Harvest' design (31cms high, 2009, designed by Emma Bossons), a tall vase in the 'Bluebell Harmony' design on a light green ground (31.5cms high, 2009, designed by Kerry Goodwin), and a tall trial vase by Kerry Goodwin with a floral pattern (31.5cms high, second quality). (3). *Condition: Trial vase, marked with a red dot so second quality. All in good condition.
Including a large slender vase in the 'Anna Lily' pattern (31.5cms high, 98), another large slender vase in the 'Trinity' pattern (31.5cms high, no 152, 2003, signed by Philip Gibson), a large vase in the 'Oberon' pattern (31cms high, 93), and a two handled vase in the 'Fleur de Luce' design (26cms high, 2nd quality, 2007). (4). *Condition: Fleur de Luce, second quality Oberon, general crazing The other two seem fine.
A small Royal Worcester vase painted with a landscape scene including cattle on a bridge, with gilded handles and bands and signed 'E Salter', marked to the base Royal Worcester, Leadless Glaze, Rd No 275715, 1871 (9cms high). Also with a Royal Worcester blush ivory vase (12cms high), and a continental porcelain tankard painted with alternating panels of birds and flowers (12cms high). (3). *Condition: Salter vase, a little wear in places to the gilding of the handles, otherwise seems fine. Blush Ivory vase, seems fine Tankard, seems in good condition.
Probably by Coalport, the 19thc vases of campana shape and differing heights, each hand painted with flowers on a table, with rams mask gilded handles and a dark blue and gilded ground. The circular bases on a square plinth, unmarked except for the number '2' in red. Larger vase 18.5cms high, 17cms high, and 16.5cms high. *Condition: Largest, small firing crack to the side of the plinth Next largest, small nibble to the gilding on the rim, crack to the pedestal which runs downwards in a couple of directions Smallest, a little gilding loss to the rim All have a little gilding loss in places, and some pitting to the surface.
A large 19thc Chinese Cantonese vase, now fixed with a light fitting. The bottle shaped vase painted with a variety of Court figures within gilded panels, also painted with flowers and insects, and various precious objects. 32.5cms high (excluding the light fitting). *Condition: Small nick to the rim and some wear to the base rim. Light fitting seems firmly stuck in place.
A large bronze vase with a ribbed body, with a variety of birds, flowers and foliage in high relief. Signed with character marks to the base, 45.5cms high. *Condition: Generally good, a few small dents around the base rim of the vase, a few marks to the surface in places including the inside, a few small marks/scratches to the body.
A mixed lot including a bowl brightly painted with a landscape scene (20cms diameter), a small bowl painted with flowers and foliage and with double circle mark to the base (10cms diameter), a small blue and white vase painted with figures amongst trees and plants (8.5cms high), a Cantone enamel lidded bowl and saucer, and other items. Various damages. *Condition: Large bowl, rings nicely, with three various chips to the rim, small crack to footrim Small bowl with double circle mark, chip to footrim, small indentation and mark to the rim from manufacture. Blue and white vase, seems fine, possibly missing a lid. Canton enamel, all with some cracks to the surface, lid with chip to the side of the rim and underneath the lid Blue and white dish, warped in shape, kiln residue to footrim Pair of tea bowls, one with nibble to rim and nibbles to footrim Tea bowl and saucer, saucer - chip to side of rim, small hairline to rim. Tea bowl, various small chips and nibbles to the rim, firing crack to footrim.
An early 19th vase of an unusual double waisted form, with a variety of shaped panels painted with figures and attendants, birds, flowers and insects. 35cms high, rim 22cms diameter. *Condition: Chip to the rim and areas of gilding loss to the rim, the underside of the rim has various chips in places.
A cloisonne vase with a tapering neck and bulbous body, decorated with flowers and other repeating motifs on a blue ground, with impressed character marks to the base, 29cms high. Also with another cloisonne vase with a Dragon and various animals on a blue ground, and with a brass base with three legs in the form of Elephants, also with character marks to the base, 19.5cms high. (2). *Condition: Larger vase, couple of small dents to the centre of the vase, one with a little damage around it, otherwise seems fine Smaller vase, various dents and surface loss in places, also with some surface loss inside.
A 19thc Chinese export tulip vase, with a central stem and five further holes to the top, and painted with a floral design. Made in two sections, 24cms high. *Condition: Top section, couple of small nibbles to the corners of the holes, small chips underneath top the rim. Bottom section also with some chips to the rim in places.
Probably late 19thc/early 20thc, each side decorated with figures within a landscape and various floral decoration. With twin lug handles to each side of the neck, some damages. 25.5cms high. (2). *Condition: One vase, chip to one corner of the base, rim - lacquer slightly coming away from the metal rim, one handle has a small spot which has been coloured in. The other, some surface loss inside, surface loss to the handles, chips to two corners of the base and slightly dented in one corner, chips underneath.
An interesting group of fifteen monochrome miniature vases, Qing Dynasty, 18th/19thc. Including three blue bottle vases (5.5cms, 5cms and 5cms high, one with collection label for Sidney Moss, Davies Street), six cafe au lait bottle vases and one baluster vase (tallest 7.5cms high, two with labels for Sidney Moss), one teadust glazed ovoid vase (7cms high), a crackle glaze ovoid vase (7cms high), two green cylindrical vases (8cms high, one with Sidney Moss label), and an iron red and gilt segmented bottle vase (6cms high, with label for John Sparks Ltd). Also with various more modern wooden stands of varying sizes. *Condition: Generally good overall, things to note - one green bottle, tiny nibbles to the rim and footrim and some wear, the other with a small crack to the rim Teadust bottle, small firing cracks to the footrim Cafe au lait, baluster vase - section of the rim is discoloured and I think restored, one has a small nick to the side of the rim, one has a very small nick to the rim, one has a small crack to the rim.
