"Historically significant table lamp and glass flower vase retrieved from Adolf Hitler`s bunker in 1945 by S.O.E. Edmund Bennett, with his full hand written provenance details, a photocopy of a local newspaper article containing him, sundry Nazi stamps, War Merit medals, and painted "keepsake photo" of Hitler`s mother Clara retained from the same location. The vase of twelve sided Art Deco opaque green moulded glass, being identified as the one on Hitler`s low table and kicked over during his death struggle. The gilt metal classical urn formed vase table lamp, being Hitler`s bedside lamp from his personal bedroom in the bunker complex. The vase bears slight rim chips almost certainly occurring during the events of Hitler`s suicide on April 30, 1945. The lamp is minus shade and some electrical fittings. Provenance in the original Russian immediate inventory/room placing`s undertaken by N.K.V.D./S.M.E.R.S.H. officers in May 1945 now in the central Russian archives, given to Edmund Bennett in May 1945, and purchased direct from him by the present vendor in 1979. Thence positively identified by Otto Gunsché, Hitler`s personal S.S. adjutant in the bunker and who carried the corpse of Hitler and Eva Braun for burning/burial in the Chancellery garden"
