An Émile Gallé Cameo Glass Vase, circa 1900, the milky white glass overlaid with purple and acid-etched with flowers, cameo signature Gallé, engraved 17 to the base, 11cm highProvenance: Given as a gift to the current vendor by Miss Edith Wyville. She received it as a thank you token for her work and devotion to the Camondo family in Paris before WWII. She was in service to the family as a nanny. She gave this piece of Gallé glass to the present vendor as a thank you for taking her back to the family home, now the Musée Nissim de Camondo, on a special journey of remembrance in the early 1970's. The top has been cut down/ground down.
