Both have surface scratching, general wear and tear conducive to age and use. Chicken decorated Emma Bridgwater bowl has a large chip to the outside rim. Brixton Pottery pieces comprise jug, three canisters, small bowl, fruit./service dish and a rectangular pie dish. All have general wear and tear conducive to age and use to include suface scratches, knife marks etc. All French spongewear items have some hairline fractures, chips throughout and are dirty. Studio Pottery Vase has general wear and tear, dirt etc conducive to age and use Rosenthal tea set, sugar basin has a small chip to the edge, tea pot has various staining and all items have surface scratching, knife marks etc general wear and tear conducive to age and use Roughly estimate this will go to sale about 10am. Lot 582

An early 19th Century oak dresser, the boarded plate rack with central recess flanked by three open shelves over a long lower shelf, the base with five drawers with turned knob handles over a shaped apron on turned and ringed tapering supports to the pot board, on stile supports CONDITION REPORTS Show general signs of wear and tear conducive to age with some splits and scratches throughout. (see images) Joints, corners and edges show wear conducive to age and use. The top cornice loose to edge and one end missing (see image) Hock along top two missing to one end and one repaired. Boards along the back show signs of shrinkage conducive to age and drying out, some colour difference throughout the piece. The top of the dresser base has a large crack running from left side to approx half way across the top (see image) staining to top of piece from vase, ink etc in various places (see images) some small splits running from right hand side. The plate rack is possibly a marriage but is attached to the main body of the piece and would need to be professional removed from the base. Drawers show signs to wear throughout and one handle on top left drawer back is half missing, bottom boards show signs of wear with age and several have splits running through centre front to back, corners have knocks and dump particular left corner is missing section (see image) feet have probably be replaced but some time ago. Overall appears sound but would benefit from restoration. There are various other pieces of repair throughout the dresser

All items are in need of a clean and have general wear and tear conducive with use. Pot lid and pot with Victorias head of a young woman is crazed all over, there are some frits to the edges and some scratches conducive with wear and tear, age and use to the deconration. There is also a firing fault to the rim of the lid. Measured approx 3.8cm in diameter.

A collection of 18th and 19th Century Chinese porcelain to include a famille verte circular shallow dish, another similar decorated in iron red and green, a Kaikemon decorated vase, two similar bowls, two further Chinese porcelain fruit bowls, a famille-rose miniature jar and cover, together with a small collection of famille-rose plates and dishes and three Kaikemon style porcelain circular shallow dishes decorated with panels of flowers and bird amongst branches (18) CONDITION REPORTS Famille Verte shallow dish has been broken in two and has been repaired with iron staples. There are various other repairs similarly. Hairline fractures all over, chipping, loss to the enamel etc. Similar dish has been drilled in the centre, hairline fracture to main body, large chip to the outside edge. Kaikemon vase neck has been broken off and re-glued. The two similar bowls have been broken and repaired, one with iron rivets, the other with glue plus additional futhre breakage unrepaired. Further two fruit bowls have also been broken and repaired. Famille Rose vase has several large chunks missing from the rim and has been broken and repaired. All Famille Rose plates and dishes have hairline fractures, star cracks etc. Three Kaikemon style circular siches - two have been broken and repaired, all items have heavy wear an tear to nclude chipping to rims, enamel, sides etc. Wear to the enamel, knife mark etc all in a rough condidion. See images for more details. NB Some old breaks / repairs and cracks have now separated.
