A George I silver gilt sugar caster, unmarked, rectangular baluster with incurved angles, a vase shape finial, scroll pierced domed cover and a moulded foot conforming, engraved with the Royal Hanoverian arms within a Garter belt, beneath a crown and flanked by `GR`, 23.5cm (9 1/4in) high, 714g (22.95 oz) . Engraved with arms for George I, George II or George III (up to 1801), for Royal, ministerial or ambassadorial use.
