Impressed green Made In England stamp mark to base with blue William Moorcroft signature and having ‘ Potter to HM Queen ’ at bottom right. Measures 8.5 cms high. Condition Report: Had an early repair but overall in good order.
A large Minton / Mintons ceramic hand painted vase of tapering form made to commemorate the Coronation of King George in 1911, signed Dean, depicting HMS King George V Dreadnought. Inscription reads, Coronation of their most gracious majesties King George V and Queen Mary, June 22nd 1911. Marked, Mintons Ltd. with impressed Mintons mark with heart mark dating the piece to 1911 and number 18 *The King George V Dreadnought of 23,400 tonnes was present at the battle of Jutland and had a crew of 1100. It was scrapped in 1926. Measurements: 27.5 cm high and 16 cm wide.
