MOORCROFT; a 'Cluny' pattern tubeline decorated vase, with WM monogram and stamped factory marks to base, year cipher for 1997, height 30.6cm. CONDITION REPORT: Some fritting to the glaze at the rim, otherwise usual manufacturing imperfections but no apparent damage or restoration.
MOORCROFT; a large 'Anemone' pattern tubeline decorated ovoid vase on dark blue ground, impressed marks and Walter Moorcroft signature in green to the base, height 32cm. CONDITION REPORT: Extensive crazing to the glaze, mainly visible in area of the floral pattern, some minor surface dirt and wear such as areas of scratches, no obvious traces of damage or restoration, the signature seems to be slightly bleached.
MOORCROFT; four floral tubeline decorated pieces on dark blue ground comprising a 'magnolia' squat baluster vase and circular pin dish, diameter 11.5cm, a 'hibiscus' bowl (af) and a small 'clematis' ovoid vase (4). CONDITION REPORT: The hibiscus pattern bowl has got a chip to the rim and a further chip to the edge of the base, same piece and both vases with areas of surface wear such as scratches and some crazing to the glaze.
ROYAL LANCASTRIAN; three mottled orange glazed pieces comprising a globular vase, height 18cm (badly af), a further smaller vase, number 2775 and a bowl initialled ETR, number 233 to the base, diameter 15cm (3). CONDITION REPORT: The largest vase is badly broken in numerous places and crudely reglued with some losses along the lines of regluing, the rim of the bowl has two pieces broken off but reglued, the smaller vase with no obvious traces of damage or restoration.
ROYAL LANCASTRIAN; a crimson glazed vase of squat baluster form, impressed marks to base, height 12cm. CONDITION REPORT: A number of small losses to the glaze exposing the body, most noticeably to the rim exterior, with nibbles to rim and pitting to the glaze. Further nibbles to the foot rim.
ROYAL LANCASTRIAN; a vase of ovoid form decorated in green with stylised floral motifs on light grey ground, number 202, with impressed ET Ratford initials, height 16.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Appears to be in good condition with no obvious traces of damage or restoration, crazing to the glaze throughout, wear to base with areas of fritting and a few shallow chips to the edge.
BERNARD MOORE; a flambé glazed squat baluster vase with flared rim, signed to base, height 10.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Some surface wear, minor chip to the glaze on the edge of the base but probably a manufacturing imperfection and a small area of restoration to the rim of the neck, otherwise appears good with no further obvious faults, damage or restoration.
MONART; a large glass ovoid vase with cylindrical neck, decorated in green, purple and blue with gold flakes, height 32cm. CONDITION REPORT: A few nibbles to the edge of the base and wear underneath, a few areas of manufacturing imprefections such as black inclusions and internal bubbles, otherwise appears good with no further obvious faults, damage or restoration.
A Royal Worcester blush ivory porcelain vase of globular form with slender waisted neck and stylised mask twin handles, painted with floral sprays, on spreading mould decorated base, marked in puce, date code for 1910, number 162, height 23cm. CONDITION REPORT: Generally in good condition with no obvious traces of damage or restoration, surface dirt, areas of staining, minor wear commensurate with age, rubbing to the gilt of the raised parts of mould decoration.
A Royal Worcester ivory ground bud vase, painted with pheasants and signed JAS Stinton, with green printed shield mark to base and numbered G151, height 14.8cm. CONDITION REPORT: Small area of different colour finish to the rim indicating possible restoration, otherwise usual surface wear, rubbing to the gilt detail and minor manufacturing imperfections, discolouration at rim indicating possible restoration or manufacturing imperfection.
A Royal Worcester globular vase with pierced neck and flared rim, painted with flowers and foliage and signed EM Fildes, puce mark to base and numbered H306, height approx 10cm. CONDITION REPORT: Some rubbing to the gilt detail, some pitting to the glaze with minor rubbing to the painted decoration but otherwise ok.
Two Royal Crown Derby Imari pattern footed vases with flared rims, each with printed marks and numbered 1128 (the taller also numbered 1597), circa 1891-1921, the slightly taller 17.7cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: Some very minor rubbing to the gilt and painted decoration and very minor pitting to the glaze, two of the feet of the smaller vase with very small losses to surface glaze but otherwise both vases in good order.
A Royal Crown Derby Imari pattern bud vase, circa 1891-1921, height approx 8.5cm, and a further saucer, post-1976, second quality, diameter 16.4cm, both with factory marks to base and numbered 1128 (2). CONDITION REPORT: Very minor rubbing to painted and gilt decoration of vase, plate second quality as stated, otherwise no apparent damage or restoration to either piece.
A pair of late 19th century French porcelain vases with covers, one painted with allegory of wealth depicting people feasting at the table, the other depicting allegory of poverty with street scene with people being given bread, both signed by Henry Catelin, of a famous Sèvres painter, within two mould cobalt blue and gilt heightened bands with gilt metal detail to top and ornamental square bases on acanthus leaf motif supports, height 47.5cm including the pine cone finial (one af). CONDITION REPORT: One of the covers is badly broken and crudely reglued with some loose pieces, majority present, one vase has got a large restored crack running from the neck to the base, the other vase with crack all around the lower part, approx 3cm above the foot, both vases with fritting and chips to the edge of the circular base, rubbing to the gilt and some tarnish to gilt metal parts, minor surface dirt and wear commensurate with age, the vase depicting poverty has got area of overpainting and some traces of later paint to the lid visible when examined under UV light; both vases restored
