Lot 598

A Coalport limited edition Constable bi-centenary eagle vase, no. 24/100, and two Coalport limited edition urns and covers; St. Paul's, 239/250, and Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee 1977, no.108/200 (af) (3). CONDITION REPORT: The large urn has had the wing broken off the finial, crudely glued, with some minor sections still missing. Minor rubbing to the gilding and some minor surface scratches. The Queen Elizabeth II urn has been broken through the base section and crudely glued, also has a large chip to the foot rim. Minor rubbing to the gilding. The St Paul's jar has minor rubbing to the gilding, otherwise OK.

CONDITION REPORT: Crazing throughout, the Chameleon vase has a hairline, the Lawleys vase has chips and rubbing.

CONDITION REPORT: Some crazing to the cups, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.

A mixed group of ceramics including a set of three 19th century Minton cabinet plates and a matching footed plate with hand painted floral sprays, two 19th century Copeland cabinet plates "Monte Salvadore" and "Bras o' Breadalbane" (af), a Sèvres style baluster vase, sandwich plate and matching cake plate, a Carlton Ware "Rouge Royale" dish, a German Art Deco breakfast set and six New Chelsea "Rambler Rose" cups and saucers. CONDITION REPORT: One Minton plate has a chip to the rim and a hairline spreading from it, one Minton plate has been broken in half and reglued and rim is partially restored, vase has been broken where the foot meets the body and crudely reglued, a New Chelsea has a crack throughout, and another has hairlines.

A Royal Doulton flambé vase of baluster form decorated with a landscape with Gothic ruins, height 18cm, a Royal Doulton stoneware blue glazed bowl decorated with thistles to alternating beads to the exterior, diameter 22cm, and a Royal Doulton stoneware pepper with white metal mounts (3). CONDITION REPORT: The flambé vase has some minor scratches to the body, the rim has a tiny area of 3 spots wear the glazing is gone, traces of wear to the base. The bowl has some scratches all over, the pepper has imperfections to base.

An early 20th century century Royal Doulton vase of baluster form, decorated with a bird perched on a branch, on pale blue background, impressed marks and artist signature to the base (Florence Barlow), no.893C, height 16.5cm, six further Royal Doulton vases, a rectangular trinket box and a pin dish (9). CONDITION REPORT: Florence Barlow vase is in good condition, some scratches to glaze. Cylindrical vase has crazing.

A large late 19th century Doulton Lambeth vase of baluster form with flared rim, painted and decorated in relief with flowers on green and brown background, impressed marks to base, no.1847, artist marks (Kate Rogers), height 41cm, a Royal Doulton jardinière with transfer decoration depicting village landscape, diameter 25cm and a pair of Royal Doulton "Persian" vases decorated with parrots amongst floral sprays, height 30.5cm (4). CONDITION REPORT: Kate Rogers: crack and reglued chip to the rim, crazing throughout. Jardiniere: crazing throughout. One of the Persian vases has a chip to the inside of the rim and hairline spreading form it, also crazing to the glaze.

CONDITION REPORT: The case is covered with tarnish. The rim of the posy vase is dented and several small dents throughout. The sovereign case is initialled JC. Stem of the salt spoon is bent.
