A TALL CHINESE CIZHOU TYPE VASE WITH CARVED PEONY PATTERN. Heavily potted baluster form body with a tall waisted neck flaring widely at the mouth to a dished rim coated in a white slip, decorated with a carved scrolling peony pattern under a transparent and finely-crackled glaze. 42.5cm tall. Provenance: from the collection of the late Brian Page (1938-2018), the well-known Oriental art and antiques dealer from Brighton, acquired from the US in the 1990s.Surface wear to note. No major signs of damage and no signs of repair.
A GROUP OF CHINESE AND CHINOISERIE ITEMS, 19/20TH CENTURY. To include a polished copper and bronze incense burner with lion mask handles on wooden stand; a turquoise-ground 'Dayazhai' style porcelain cup and saucer with four and six-character mark of Qianlong to base; Together with a continental yellow-ground and gilt ceramic vase with decorated with Chinese figures and furniture. Yellow vase 18.5cm tall. (3)All items in good general condition without major damage. Only slight loss to edge of wooden stand to note. Incense burner with no cover.

Two leafy bamboo stems to the neck with six-character mark of Kangxi within double ring to base. 15.5cm tallOverall good general condition. Wear to edges of ribbed body to note. No major signs of damage or repair.
A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN BOTTLE VASE, 17/18TH CENTURY. A flattened globular body slightly domed, leading into a tall tapered cylindrical neck with rectangular foot. Decorated with floral scrolls. 30cm tall. Firing crack and faults to the middle section of the body at the joining line. No actual damage, no damage cracks or chips and no signs of repair. Minor surface wear throughout.
A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN DOUBLE-GOURD DRAGON VASE, MARK AND PERIOD OF JIAJING (1522-1566). With two bulb like sections decorated in underglaze blue with dragons and ruyi clouds above crashing waves. Six-character mark of Jiajing to base. 11.3cm tall. Provenance: Sotheby's Hong Kong 2018. With Sothebys's lot label 488. Sotheby's Reference: Small double-gourd vases of this type from the Jiajing period (r. 1522-1566) are rare and only a few related examples appear to have been published; see one from the Qing Court collection and still in Beijing, illustrated in The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum. Blue and White Porcelain with Underglaze Red (II), Hong Kong, 2000, pl. 84; and another, sold in these rooms, 5th October 2016, lot 112. Compare also a vase of this form and size, decorated with dragon medallions reserved on a hexagonal-diaper ground, from the collection of Sir Percival David, sold twice in our London rooms, 15th October 1968, lot 102, and again, 13th March 1973, lot 245; and another sold in these rooms, 4th April 2012, lot 3168. Overall good condition with no signs of damage or repair. Minor surface wear to body only.
TWO VINTAGE JAPANESE CLOISONNE ITEMS. To include a green enamel koro with pierced white metal cover and foot rim with single character mark to base. Together with a black enamel vase decorated with seven flying cranes, marked Cloisonne Made in Japan. 10 and 18cm height. (2)One knock to shoulder of black vase with no other signs of damage. The green koro in good overall condition.
A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE PORCELAIN MEIPING BUTTERFLY VASES. Each decorated with a cracked ice pattern with butterflies and floral motifs. Each with apocryphal six-character marks of Kangxi to base. 30.5cm and 32cm tall. (2)The taller vase with faint hairline to middle of base. The other with a faint 10cm hairline vertical in body.

TWO CHINESE PORCELAIN ITEMS, 19/20TH CENTURY. To include a famille rose porcelain vase decorated with cartouches of treasured items and turquoise lion handles. Together with a porcelain dish decorated with ladies in a courtyard scene. Vase 24.5cm tall. Dish 23cm diam. (2) Slight firing fault or repair to rim of vase with dirt staining to the interior and surface wear to note. Dish with small nick to rim.

Yuan dynasty style bottle vases with moulded chilong handles, decorated to the body with three-clawed dragons above a key fret band around the splayed foot. 22cm tall. (2)Damage to one section of the rim to one vase. Fritting cracking in areas to chilong handles. Firing faults to interior of other vase neck.
