Of flared oval section, each side painted with a wreath of flowers about a moth on a raised gilt-ground medallion, the side moulded with scrolls and foliage, the shoulder with applied pierced rocaille beneath radiating pierced vertical flutes, on a spreading circular stem and four pierced scroll feet (restoration through stem and to one rocaille scroll and feet). 7s in. Painted by John Stinton with two Highland cattle within a mountainous landscape, signed, the reverse with a lesser landscape vignette, with acanthus-moulded handles and richly-gilt everted neck and gadrooned rims, on a gilt canted rectangular base. 12s in. Painted by John Stinton with two Highland cattle within a mountainous landscape, signed, the reverse with a lesser landscape vignette below hanging stiff-leaves, the pierced domed cover enriched in two-tone gilding and shot-silk and moulded with tassles, with gilt scrolling foliate borders (very light glaze cracks to underside, minute rubbing to gilding). 14s in.
