A circa 1900 Chinese famille-rose polychrome decorated vase with panels of figures in interiors flanked by pierced open work handles CONDITION REPORTS Large area of damage to the rim - repaired but with small sections missing. Large crack occurring from that damage down the neck of the vase curling round over the shoulder of the vase for around 35 cm. Several surface cracks to the base. Otherwise colours good. One handle damaged and repaired. measurements approx 46cm tall and 23cm wide
A 19th Century circular occassional table with mirrorred top above painted and gilded urn stand with acanthus leaf flag decoration, supporting tripod legs united by a stretcher CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface scratches, dents, scruffs and accretions. Areas of loss to the paint and the gilt throughout the item. The mirrorred top is in a distressed state with heavy loss to the silver backing on the glass. A Chinese blue and white foliate and flower head decorated flattened baluster shaped vase, flanked by rope slots, bears faux Qianlong seal mark to base CONDITION REPORTS Underglaze crack to the surface of the rim. Dirty to the rim of the base. Otherwise appears in good condition.
A 19th Century Chinese Imari polychrome decorated vase, the main body depicting figures and kylin in a landscape CONDITION REPORTS Nibbling to the glaze of the rim. Large hairline crack from the rim down the body, curling towards the horizontal, approx 17 cm long overall. At the neck to the expterior there is a series of pairs of holes drilled, possibly a sign of an old repair. The crack appears old emanating from a possibly firing crack to the interior of the base of the rim. Base has a brownish discolouration which appears to have occurred during glazing.
