Large crack occurring from that damage down the neck of the vase curling round over the shoulder of the vase for around 35 cm. Several surface cracks to the base. Otherwise colours good. One handle damaged and repaired. measurements approx 46cm tall and 23cm wide

A 19th Century circular occassional table with mirrorred top above painted and gilded urn stand with acanthus leaf flag decoration, supporting tripod legs united by a stretcher CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface scratches, dents, scruffs and accretions. Areas of loss to the paint and the gilt throughout the item. The mirrorred top is in a distressed state with heavy loss to the silver backing on the glass. Our view is that it has most likely always been a table, probably originally for an urn or a large vase. Height 49 cm tall by 45.5cm across approx

A 19th Century Chinese Imari polychrome decorated vase, the main body depicting figures and kylin in a landscape CONDITION REPORTS Nibbling to the glaze of the rim. Large hairline crack from the rim down the body, curling towards the horizontal, approx 17 cm long overall. At the neck to the expterior there is a series of pairs of holes drilled, possibly a sign of an old repair. The crack appears old emanating from a possibly firing crack to the interior of the base of the rim. Base has a brownish discolouration which appears to have occurred during glazing.
