Michael retired to Cornwall around 1988 he settled at first in St Ives, where he became a prominent patron of the arts. This vase is in excellent condition, similar to how it was originally made. To the lip there are areas where the glaze has not held during firing. Otherwise perfect.

A number of small chips can be found on the rim of the piece, together with a small chip which can be found in the lower centre of the piece (please see additional images).
A small amount of Royal Worcester blush ivory ceramics to include; a tall fluted edged and gadrooned style body vase, having twin elaborate gilt handles, no 1532 to base, a leaf shaped floral painted dish, having gilt handle, no 1404 to base, a small wheel shaped vase, having twin handles and painted floral design, no 845 to base. Along with an Elite, France signed similar blush ivory style floral painted plate with gilt detail and a Fieldings Devon Ware blush ivory stand. (5) Large twin handled vase has repair at centre so in past top has been broken, some slight loss to gilding and wear to most pieces commensurate to age and small leaf shaped dish has a feint hairline crack visible on the back
A 19th century English porcelain perfume bottle/vase, having colourful hand painted scenes of forest, mountain and bird design, with yellow painted spherical body, unmarked but in the Worcester style. Approx. 11cm high. Further Details: Chip to top rim, slightest loss to paint and gilding in parts.
Royal Worcester - A tall twin handled urn vase, on elaborate stepped footed base, the body having two graduating oval hand painted floral panels surrounded by stylised relief gilt detail, the top and bottom rims being of ribbed design and the base rim being gilded all around, marked to the underside, registration no. 308314 and numbered 1969, also with a dealer sticker for Wain Antiques collection. Approx. 28cm high. Further Details: Restoration to central piece and signs of old glue to inside, slight loss to gilding in parts, otherwise good.
