(8cm.) high, together with a further Royal Worcester vase with ribbon swag decoration. (3). *Condition: Two vases very good condition, nothing to note, the further vase with light gilt rubbing.

A Chinese porcelain blue and white double gourd vase and cover probably 18th / early 19th century, potted with two distinct bulbs and elongated, slightly flared neck with domed, stopper-style cover, painted with a pair of phoenix in flight amidst stylised clouds, the smaller bulb above with gnarled prunus and pine trees below a floral and diaper decorated neck, the two gourds divided by a wavy girdle, over a basal band of floral reserves on a keywork ground, six character mark to base, 14in. (35.5cm.) high, neck and cover a/f. *Condition: Cover with glued repair, glued repair to upper neck and small chip to rim, a patch of heavy abrasion to glaze to lower neck. A few small frits to edge of base.

Three small Chinese porcelain blue and white vases comprising two sleeve vases, one painted with two dragons amidst flowers and foliage, below a diaper and bamboo border below the everted rim, 6in. (15.1cm.) high, the other painted with two rectangular reserves with figures in a garden, on a ruyi diaper ground, with four character Xuantong mark (1909-1911) and probably of the period, 5½in. (14.1cm.) high; and a baluster vase with similar decoration, with four character Kangxi mark but later, 4 7/8in. (12.3cm.) high. (3) *Condition: - Sleeve vase (dragons): Small glaze chip to rim. Otherwise good. - Sleeve vase (scholars): 2in. hairline to rim. - Baluster vase: Small patch of glaze abrasion to rim. No other faults.

A pair of Chinese Canton famille rose vases 19th century, baluster form with everted scalloped rims, with twin gilt fo dog handles and four gilt dragons to each shoulder, painted in the typical palette with rectangular and smaller shaped reserves depicting noble figures and their attendants in interiors, the larger reserves with keywork borders, on a ground of all over floral decoration with precious objects and butterflies, 14in. (35.5cm.) high. (2) *Condition: Some gilt wear to rims, handles and dragons. Crack across centre of base and small chip beneath rim to one vase.

A good pair of Chinese famille rose porcelain 'Boys' vase lamps 19th century, the vases of stout baluster form, painted in polychrome enamels with three groups of three boys varying auspicious objects, the groups surrounding large suspended pendant motifs, each with a large blue-green bat holding a lantern decorated with tassels and suspending a lotus flower, over a floral lappet pendant border in turquoise with pink and lavender borders, the upstanding neck with flowers and foliage on a yellow ground, the vases 13in. (33cm.) high plus lamp fittings, which are inserted from the neck and have not damaged the vases. (2) *Condition: Very good overall - no chips, cracks or other faults. The lamp fittings have not caused any damage, drill holes etc. to the vases. Enamelled decoration very good, with just a little very minor wear to the iron red edge lining in places around the base and a few tiny nicks and scratches.

Lot 234

A fine quality Chinese cloisonne vase and cover early 20th century, the squat, baluster form vase with domed cover with gilt Kylin finial, with black, white and red floral and foliate decoration within polychrome borders of ruyi, floral scrolls and lappets, on a gilt ground, the interior in turquoise and the base mid-blue, 4in. (10.2cm.) high. *Condition: Minor rubs and light scratches to gilt edges. One tiny surface flake from black enamel. No other faults.

Lot 235

A Chinese porcelain flambe glazed lamp, the stoutly potted vase with a thick, streaked and mottled blue glaze with white pooling to the glaze in places and large dark, think spots to the neck, the vase 10in. (25.5cm.) high, glued repair to rim, glaze chipping to base, drilled.*Condition: Large v-shaped piece and two smaller pieces beside this have been off from the rim and have old glued repairs. The edge of the base has several large glaze flakes and a piece of glaze has been off and glued back. Has a drilled base from the lamp conversion.

Lot 242

A fine Chinese famille rose porcelain shallow dish or stand Yongzheng six character mark in underglaze blue within double concentric circles to the underside and believed to be of the period (1723-1735), the circular dish with very slightly upturned rim and inset, shallow circular foot, finely painted in enamels with two noblewomen, one holding a finger citron, standing beside a marble topped table with a vase of peonies, a dish of pomegranates and a porcelain pillow, with two stools beneath, the women watching a boy playing and two chickens pecking at their feet, 5 7/8in. (14.8cm.) diameter. *One minute (1mm) chip to rim at approx. 3 o'clock and approx. ten tiny glaze flakes to the rim. No other chips or cracks. Minor gilt wear to decoration, some rubbing / wear to pale blue enamelling to right hand stool. Some rubbing to enamelling to left hand chicken's head. A few other very small flakes from enamel and a little light scratching to painted decoration in places. No restoration.

A small Chinese porcelain blue and white baluster vase four character underglaze blue Kangxi mark but later, painted with birds and butterflies amidst flowers, fruit and foliage, 5¼in. (3.25cm.) high; together with another similar, 5 3/8in. (13.6cm.) high; a small Oriental blue and white porcelain box and cover with white metal mounts, the cover painted with a carp amidst water weed, 2¼in. (5.75cm.) diameter; and a small blue and white Japanese Arita style bottle vase, 4 5/8in. (11.7cm.) high. (4) *Condition: - Baluster vase with Kangxi marks: Two small glaze frits to rim. No cover. No other faults. - Baluster vase: Small glaze flaw just above foot. No other faults. - Whitemetal mounted box: VG, no faults. - Bottle vase: Two small chips inside foot rim. No other faults.

A small Chinese porcelain blue and white baluster vase with four character Kangxi mark to base (1662-1722), probably 19th century, painted with flowers and leaves on a scrolling vine ground, the shoulder and base with repeating hexagon borders, the upstanding neck painted with peonies and leaves, 5¼in. (13.2cm.) high. *Condition: Very good, with no faults.

A pair of small Japanese bronze dragon vases bottle form, c.1900, red-brown patination, 6 1/8in. (15.5cm.) high. (2) *condition: Good colour and patina. Small casting flaw hole to base of one vase, the other with ding to rim and to dents to edge of foot.

A Meissen porcelain part dessert service late 19th / early 20th century, probably outside decorated, with blue crossed swords marks with cancellation mark to glaze, one impressed 'K.S.P.M. MEISSEN', painted with courting couples in gardens within borders of scattered flowers, the pierced lattice rims with floral painted reserves, comprising an oval dish, a square dish, a 23.5cm. plate and six smaller plates; together with late-Meissen bud vase; and a reticulated basket style table centrepiece, 11½in. (29.2cm.) diameter, lacks base. (11) *Condition: The square dish has a large chip to one corner. One smaller plate has a tiny frit beneath rim. Small chip to one leaf on centrepiece. Otherwise good, with some gilt wear.

E Townsend for Royal Worcester miniature cabinet vase, of globular form, decorated with fruit and berries on ivory ground, having gilt rims, pattern No. 2491, puce backstamp, dating to 1891, 3in. (7.7cm.) high. *Condition: Good condition, nothing to note.

Lot 36

A matched pair of Delft vases and covers 19th century or earlier, of ribbed ovoid form, painted with seaside / waterways and pastoral scenes, reserved on foliate bodies, the domed covers with lion dog finials, one with K mark to base, the other 'ARY'?, 15¾in. (40cm.) high. (2) *Condition: The version marked K beneath - The domed cover with large piece of rim broken off 4 3/8in. (11.2cm.) long, piece off but present, rim of vase with hairline crack and having the normal chips and scraps to edges etc. The other - good with usual chips etc to glaze.

Lot 45

A Bloor Derby porcelain pot pourri vase and cover 1830s-40s, of naturalistic form with pierced foliate and floral encrusted decoration, with twin strap leaf handles foliate finial to the conforming cover, printed red factory mark, 7¾in. (19.7cm.) high, old repair to rim, some losses to flowers. *Condition: One corner of rim has been off and has a glued repair. Small hairline nearby. some losses from flower petals throughout. Glaze discolouration to base.

Lot 507

A scarce 18th century full length 'dressed' silhouette portrait picture probably German, the figure of a noblewoman in a fitted bodice with capped sleeves and bustle back skirt dressed a la polonaise, her dress in fabric with overlaid black paper outlining, her light headdress is black gauze, depicted carrying a vase of flowers, the vase cut from printed paper with German text, on laid paper, 9 5/8 x 7 3/8in. (24.5 x 18.7cm.), in a period giltwood frame, ink inscription verso, "Dressed picture in silhouette, Probably German 1745, Reproduced in Mr. Nevill Jackson's "The History of Silhouettes" 1911". *Condition: Sheet toned evenly. Some dirty marks, small stains and small fox marks to fabric on costume. Frame has old overpainting in gold which is flaking and crazing, some small losses. Very original overall.

(24.8cm.) diameter; together with a twin handled vase/pot, decorated with foliate design on blue mottled ground by the same designer, 5½in. (14cm.) high. (2) *Condition: Both pieces good, nothing to note.

A George II figured and straight grain walnut open armchair the shaped back with solid vase splat, over a bowfronted seat with scalloped apron, the drop-in seat with floral needlepoint, flanked by shaped arms with crook terminals, on swept supports, raised on foliate and husk carved cabriole front legs with pad feet and turned and square section back legs, united by a turned H-stretcher, 25½in. (64.75cm.) wide, 41¾in. (106cm.) high to back.

Lot 641

A small Ghom silk tree of life prayer rug the central fir tree on a dark blue Mihrab with all over decoration of birds in branches and flowers, including a pair of peacocks, within a three sided tree and vase border, the outer claret red border with pairs of fighting stags and floral motifs, within dark olive green floral meander guards, 54½ x 34½in. (138.5 x 87.5cm.). *Condition: Very good overall - good colours. Heavy wear to fringe at both ends.

Lot 643

A Kashmiri silk vase design rug the ivory Mihrab with flowering vines issuing from a vase, below pale grey spandrels, within a black ground floral border, 73½ x 49in. (187 x 124.5cm.). *Condition: Some wear to pile to main field, notably to left of vase and top centre of Mihrab. Some loose cords to selvege and heavy wear and losses to top left corner. Colours good.

(2) *Condition: - Warff: Some scratching to base. No other faults. - Lindstrand: Very good with no faults.
