A 19th Century Chinese Canton famille rose vase, the flared rim with margarite decoration, the neck decorated in high relief with different coloured salamanders over a baluster body decorated with panels of figures in a garden setting and flowers and butterflies raised on a circular foot, 23.5 cm high together with another similar vase with gilt decorated salamander and exotic beast figures to the neck CONDITION REPORTS The pair of vases have some areas of white paint to the bodies. One of them sits slightly askew - i.e. leaning in one direction. Large chips / losses to the rim as well as a hairline fracture running from one of the chips down the neck. Some minor losses to the gilt animals. There is a firing fault to the base. Otherwise both have general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include some light surface scratching, wear to the enamel decoration and firing faults, etc. In need of a clean. General wear and tear to include some light scratching conducive with age and use - see images for examplesThe encrusted vase has significant damage. One of the bird's beaks off and tail. The other bird has a large section missing from the tail. There is a large section missing from the base as well as areas of applied flower work throughout. A collection of mainly Chinese porcelain items including a 19th Century Chinese lozenge shaped famille rose dish on oval foot, 20.5 cm x 13.8 cm, three 19th Century Chinese celadon glazed famille rose plates, each with different blue under glaze seal mark, approx 19 cm diameter, a famille noire polychrome floral decorated ginger jar bearing faux Qianlong over glazed oxide red printed seal mark, 18.5 cm high, a Chinese oxide red glazed floral decorated plate with faux Qianlong mark, 22.5 cm diameter, a blue glazed floral and foliate decorated stem cup with six character mark to base, 11 cm diameter x 11.8 cm high, two prunus blossom decorated ginger jars, a Chinese cloisonné bowl with water dragon decoration, bearing four character seal mark to base, 20 cm diameter, a Chinese verdigris patinated bronze wine vessel in the archaic manner, 18 cm high and a Japanese Satsuma baluster shaped vase decorated with warriors and a battle scene bearing four character seal mark to base, 21 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The lozenge shaped stand / dish has been broken and repaired in various places. Has significant firing faults, some chips to the base and roughness to the other edges. The celadon glazed plates - two have hairline fractures. All three have some roughness to the edges and losses to the decoration, particularly to the smaller of the three. There are some small chips to the edges. The famille noire ginger jar has some roughness / firing faults to the glaze and looks a bit patchy in areas. The lid has a small chip to the underside. The red oxide plate has some significant wear to the decoration throughout. Both ginger jars are very light. Otherwise general wear and tear. The cloisonne bowl has some white residue throughout, particularly to the base of the dish and the underside. The underside doesn't look quite right - unsure if something has been later let in or if badly manufactured in the first place. There are some small dings and knocks to the cloisonne throughout resulting in some areas of loss and other areas of bruising. The goblet type vessel has a large firing fault to the base. There is crazing throughout and some minor chips, remains of paint, etc. The patinated bronze wine vessel has some surface scratches, etc. The Satsuma vase has all-over crazing and some losses to the decoration. Otherwise all items have various general wear and tear conducive with age and use and are in need of a clean. See images for further detail.

There is an area of loss to the glazing at the top of the rim. Large firing faults throughout, especially to the bottom of the vase. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. A 19th Century Coalport type fluted and gilt decorated tea set comprising tea pot and stand, sugar box and cover, slop bowl and milk jug, ten cups, eleven saucers, together with a Vienna style gilt decorated two handled vase with figure panel and landscape verso decoration (AF) 33 cm high, a pair of Continental gilt and pink ground pierced pedestal baskets 21 cm high x 21 cm diameter and a Capodimonte figure group of 18th Century lady and gentleman 22 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Five of the cups have significant hairline cracks / star fractures. One cup has a firing flaw which makes it looked cracked and another has significant wear to the interior. Seven of the saucers have significant hairline fractures / star cracks. The milk jug has a large chip mainly to the internal rim and a hairline fracture running down through it. The slop bowl has significant firing faults to the interior and a couple of black marks to the exterior. The lid of the sucrier has all-over crazing / discolouration. The main pot has some wear and brown marks to the exterior. The teapot has lid has a firing fault to the knop. The stand has a star crack to the base as well as various firing faults throughout that obviously could not be repaired as there is now a wooden block in the middle. The gilding has worn heavily throughout. The capodimonte figure group has some losses to the extremities throughout including his fingers. The Vienna style vase has significant damage and repair to the base of the urn shape as well as wear to the gilding throughout. All pieces have wear to the gilding conducive with age and heavy use. All are in need of a clean, etc. See images for further detail.
Two similar Chinese blue ground cloisonné vases with floral spray and blossom decoration, one with bird amongst branches approx. 24 cm high together with a pair of Chinese cloisonné floral decorated blue ground bowls 11 cm diameter x 7.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS One vase has had a several knocks and has been repaired badly. The other has some areas of paint on it. The bowls, both have had significant dents / knocks and have had been badly repaired. Otherwise all pieces have some firing faults to include pin head holes, surface scratches etc. Heavy wear and tear conducive to age and use. See images for more details.
A Capodimonte polychrome relief decorated urn shaped vase with egg and dart rim over a classically decorated body and mask decorated gilt handles on a foliate decorated base and square foot bearing crowned "N" blue underglazed mark 20 cm high together with a circa 1900 Burmantofts foliate decorated vase bearing impressed mark "1050" to base 25 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The Capodimonte urn has some significant chips to the underside of the rim as well as various firing faults to the upper white part of the rim. In need of a good clean. General wear and tear to include some losses to the gilt and enamel. See images for more details. The Burmantofts vase has been heavily broken and restored, particularly to the top quarter. There is heavy crazing throughout. Large chips on the foot and it is generally very dirty with dried on glue type remnants. Has heavy wear and tear conducive with age, use and damage. See images for further details.
