CONDITION REPORT: The one with a cover has a 1" hairline to the rim, firing flaws throughout as expected, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
An early 20th century Chinese porcelain baluster vase painted in underglaze blue and Famille Vert enamels with two figures holding a vase decorated with chrysanthemum sprays on a prunus ground, bears underglaze blue double ring mark to base, height 30cm, a pair of decorative Japanese Satsuma vases, a further Satsuma vase and a Noritake lobed bowl (5).
A pair of 19th century Chinese Canton Famille Rose baluster vases and covers with applied gilded dragon decoration and vignettes of figures and birds and butterflies, height 30cm (one af) and a further 19th century Chinese baluster vase decorated with figures in landscapes, height 40cm (badly damaged). CONDITION REPORT: One of the Canton vases is cracked through the body, rubbing to the gilding and some minor flaws to the glaze. The second has a fine hairline crack to the body, the cover has been badly broken and restored. The larger vase has been very badly damaged throughout as has the cover.
