Royal Doulton pottery florally decorated, gilded and enamelled baluster shaped jug. Printed marks with number: B488 and initials: B.W. Together with a Royal Doulton ovoid, tapering vase with applied lozenge shaped foliate panels and floral sprays. Impressed marks with number: 8310. (2) CONDITION REPORT: The jug has a small but noticeable chip to the base of the handle which is as a result cracked through but has not been off, the vase appearing good.
Keswick Industrial School of Arts beaten copper, cylindrical beaker or spill vase with foliate banded, engraved decoration. Impressed initials: K.I.S.A. to base. CONDITION REPORT: No major damage or repairs. Some minor dents around rim and a little miss-shapen. Some dents also around base rim. Grubby inside.
Two Japanese Meiji period Satsuma earthenware, Vase in baluster shape with two handles, and painted and gilt high-lighted with landscape and ladies. Jar in four lobed spherical form body with handles and tripod footed, painted and gilt high-lighted with group of ladies and scholars on each side. 19th/20th century, 32cm high and 8cm high, punched on the bottom of the vase, otherwise in good condition.
An unusual tall Royal Crown Derby vase tapering up and out from a narrow spread base to an enclosing integral cover with central opening having an everted rim, decorated with flowers and gilded, the asymmetrical gilt handles formed as thorny stems. Royal Crown Derby mark to underside with “England “ alongside, dating it to the 1891-1921 period. Underglaze sgraffito 716. In excellent condition, no chips or cracks, gilding not worn.
E Dreyfous. (circa 1900). A tall ribbed glass vase tapering outwards as it rises from a spread base, very finely wheel engraved with roses and rosebuds on winding stems and leafage, a band of interlaced ribbons at the top, signed at the base “E. Dreyfous”, believed to be Edouard Henry Dreyfous. 56cm. high.
Continental glass, comprising a large cut glass vase amber flashed and wheel cut with a broad band of roses above a band with geometric patterns and slice cut below, ht.18.5cm. , a ruby cased vase wheel cut with buildings, stags, scrolls and diaperwork, ht.18cm., a liqueur glass on tall stem similarly cut, a small vase green cased and panel cut with silver overlay collar, ht.9cm.,and a blue baluster vase with silver overlay, ht.11.5cm. An Isle of Wight glass pear shaped paperweight with paper label, a Mdina glass vase with paper label and a Bohemian glass scent bottle, together with five small boxes, being a French ceramic box marked Quimper, a Soviet Russian lacquer box, an oval hardwood box, and two hardwood boxes with inlay.(8)
