A CHINESE FLAMBE SANG DE BOEUF PORCELAIN VASE, bottle shaped, blue seal mark to base, probably 19th Century. 13cmSome minor crazing to the base and the rim of the neck. There are a couple of tiny hairline cracks to the neck rim - these are visible under a triplet 10 x 20mm loupe.

OWEN BOWEN (1873-1967), STILL LIFE OF FLOWERS IN VASE, signed and dated 1927 lower right, oil on canvas, framed. 89cm by 69cmNote: Owen Bowen was a British painter, known mostly for his Impressionist still lifes and landscapes depicting the Yorkshire countryside. Born in 1873 in Leeds, Bowen was educated during evenings in his adolescence at Leeds School of Art. In the early 20th century, Bowen travelled to Holland, where he painted maritime landscapes and windmill scenes. He went on to form the Leeds School of Art, now known as the Owen Bowen School of Art. Before his death at the age of 94 in 1967, Bowen exhibited his work regularly throughout England, showing at the Walker Gallery and the Royal Cambrian Academy.

A SECESSIONIST PEWTER-MOUNTED POTTERY VASE, CIRCA 1900, the shaded blue-glazed body with undulating neck, the pewter mount cast in low relief with stylised foliage and issuing three whiplash handles, each entwined to form a collar, 21cm; together with A SHELLEY MABEL LUCIE ATTWELL "BOO BOO" TEAPOT, modelled as a cottage in the form of a mushroom, 11cm. (2)Vase: No visible chips, cracks or restoration. The pewter foot slightly misshapen. Teapot: Hairline crack to the cover and two chips to the flange of the same. Minor paint loss.
