Mid 19th century repeating carriage clock by Henri Marc, Paris, No 1504 / 23754, silvered club tooth platform with unusual counter balanced lever, signed enamel dial, striking on a bell in gorge style case with waved mouldings, large top glass, key holder in vase, 15mm CONDITION REPORT: Key in base. When wound clock appears to go. Working order but no guarantee. No key present. Gilt is in reasonable condition.
Early 20th century Chinese famille rose vase with flaring rim, decorated with mandarin ducks and phoenix amongst flowering rocks, deep ruyi head band to the shoulder, fitted for electricity, 36cm CONDITION REPORT: Minor paint loss. Some pitting otherwise good condition.
19th Century Chinese blue and white high shouldered vase with wide 'onion' style neck, depicting warrior in full ceremonial dress holding an axe, a Kylin seated on a plinth stand at his side, inscription to stand and verso extolling the virtues of the warrior, elaborate Qianlong mark to base, Zhuanshu script flanked by dragons. CONDITION REPORT: Vase glaze is good and bright. There is a central luting line. There are no apparent chips, cracks or restoration but there is some scratching to the surface and some fine sparks from the kiln leaving black pinprick marks. Height 37cm.
