Large Mirror Pair of Japanese Stoneware Flower Vases. Sino Tibetian. Molded Chimera or Dragons holding loop handles. Pierced Neck. Guan Yin and Attendant in cartouches one side and Flowers on reverse. Green ground. Rich Enamel and Gilt decoration. Apple blossom, Lotus and various foliage, Rococo style borders. Both vases with character marks, initials under bases. Condition - Most of the gilt is worn from handles with traces remaining in the recesses. Firing cracks, fine crazing and some larger crazing lines. Streckenbach, Max Theodor (1863 Eckernförde-1936 ebenda) "Blumenstilleben mit Weihnachtsstern in Vase", Öl/ Lw., sign. u.r., 82x62 cm, Rahmen (Streckenbach studierte von 1885 bis 1895 Medizin in München, Berlin und Rostock, Kiel und Bern.
