A collection of Chinese porcelain, 20th century, comprising a wall pocket painted with a bird amongst blossoming branches and between a relief moulded Ruyi head border, 28 cm high, a ginger jar and cover with polychrome enamel decoration, with printed mark for Jiangxi Jingdezhen Min Ci, a further ginger jar marked for Zhongguo Jingdezhen Zhi, a tankard and a blue and white double gourd shape miniature vase with four character Jingdezhen Zhi mark, 10 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The upper rim of the wall pocket is poorly fired and shows lots of iron oxide spots. The gilding along the front of the wall pocket is erased and has left a dull line. The first pink band across the top has a small chip on the right hand side. The moulding of the Ruyi heads is not particularly good nor consistent. There are no obvious chips, cracks or post production flaws visible. The tankard handle has been broken near the top in two places and restored. Otherwise the tankard is in good condition. It bears a wax seal signifying that it is of no cultural importance the same can be said for the wall pocket. The double gourd shaped vase has no obvious faults. One ginger jar is missing a cover. Both ginger jars are otherwise in good order but are not of the highest quality.

A small pair of cloisonne vases, decorated with birds, branches and blossom. Height 15 cm. CONDITION REPORT: One vase has a very small bruise on the shoulder with small fine hairline cracks issuing from the centre. There is a further notable 1 cm x 3 mm wide crack near the base with again further fine cracks issuing. There are approximately three chips around the base where the body joins the foot rim. Its partner vase appears to be in good order with some very light surface scratches but nothing too obvious. There appears to be no chips, cracks or restorations to this vase.
A pair of Vienna porcelain vases, printed with Classical scenes and with beehive mark to base. Height 37 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The left hand vase has a large hairline crack on the rear of the rim running down into the shoulder. The right hand handle has been broken off at the top and glued. The gilt decoration at the rear is almost fully erased. The left hand vase has a section of the rim missing at the rear. The left hand handle has been off and glued. The gilding on the rear is almost fully erased.
A large Whitefriars kingfisher blue "Banjo" vase, designed by Geoffrey Baxter for the Textured Range for the 1970's, pattern number 9681, 32.5 cm high (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The rear left corner of the neck has a small 3 mm x 2 mm white inclusion. This cannot be felt, it is in the actual body of the glass. There is a further much smaller speck at the rear of the neck, again this cannot be felt as it is in the actual body of the glass. There are the remains of dead insects and plants attached to the inside of the body and a good clean may reveal further small inclusions produced at the manufacturing stage. On the right hand side of the neck there is a further longer white inclusion but again cannot be felt on either side and is in the body. There is the remnants of the glue from a pattern number label attached to the bottom. Overall there appear to be no post manufacture chips, cracks or flaws.
A Noritake vase and Noritake vase and cover, 20th century, each with painted marks, 24 cm and 14.5 cm respectively. CONDITION REPORT: The taller vase has very light gilt rubbing throughout but this is particularly notable on the rim and feet. The colours are vibrant. There is further gilt rubbing to the ring handles. The black rim at the top looks a little washed out and is not a solid colour throughout, alternating from dark black to a grey black. There appear to be no obvious chips, cracks or restorations. The bowl and cover has gilt rubbing to the rim of the petals and the knop. There is gilt rubbing to the rim and foot rim of the bowl but not overly excessive,. The colours are vibrant throughout. There appear to be no obvious chips, cracks, faults or restorations.
A large Whitefriars "Drunken Bricklayer" kingfisher blue glass vase, designed by Geoffrey Baxter for the Textured Range, circa 1967-77, pattern number 9672, 34 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: There are no obvious post production flaws visible. The body appears to be free from any external chips or cracks. Overall, apart from requiring a good interior clean, this piece is in good order.
A Japanese printed blue and white charger, circa 1920/30's, centred within a landscape of buildings around a river framed by panels of flowers against diaper and blossoming prunus and chrysanthemums, diameter 40 cm, and a green glaze vase with ormolu mounted apertures, height 25 cm.
Assorted 18th century Chinese porcelain, to include an Imari pattern plate, two tea caddies, three coffee cans, three tea bowls and a saucer, and a Japanese Kutani coffee can and two saucers (12). CONDITION REPORT: Two coffee cans are in good order with no post production faults. The Famille Rose coffee can has a rim chip and a 1.5 cm hairline crack on the rim. The vase with the white scrolling decoration on the foot rim has a 1 cm chip to the foot rim and some fritting. The other vase has a 1 cm hairline crack on the rim. The Kutani coffee cup has a large fine hairline crack. There are two Kutani saucers which are both in good order. The Chinese saucer has a few rim frits, a small chip to the rim and a 2 cm fine hairline crack. The larger bowl has numerous rim frits but rings out nicely when lightly tapped. One tea bowl has no chips or cracks but it does have an awful lot of kiln dirt in the glaze. The smallest Famille Rose tea bowl has a 6 mm x 4 mm rim chip. The Chinese Imari plate has a rim to foot rim fine hairline crack and a small glaze chip.
Various English ceramics, to include a small Royal Worcester trefoil shaped box and cover, decorated with flowers, a similar vase decorated with birds, flowers etc., (AF), an aesthetic style white glazed jug of tapering form, green mark to underside and a Minton porcelain two handled vase and cover. A PAIR OF RUSKIN A9 SHAPED VASES, with a matt blue glaze over a gloss orange, impressed Ruskin England 1927 to the base, height approximately 24cm (condition: no signs of restoration or repair, both vases have small splashes of white paint which should come off, there are a few surface scratches to both the matt and gloss glazes, the very bottom edge of the lighter bottomed one has a tiny depression in the gloss glaze, like a chip but more likely a fault or burst air bubble, the darker orange bottomed vase has a similar fault in the same area which is slightly larger)
