Two spots of glaze wear by the footrim. Natural crazing and some minor scratching.
An Arts & Crafts silver jug, Omar Ramsden & Alwyn Carr, London 1911, with band of floral decoration centred by an armorial of Dighton, the foot with extensive inscription from 'some Gloucestershire Magistrates to Rev Charles Dighton', 13.5cm high, approximately 178g CONDITION REPORT: this vase has been broken away through the stem and repaired with lead solder. Although the repair is tidy, a grey line is visible through the stem and solder is very visible to the underside in the centre. Otherwise condition good with minor wear and scratches in line with age and usage.
A George III silver hot water jug, Charles Aldridge & Henry Green, London 1777, of vase form on square base, the lid with urn finial, decorated beaded borders, engraved crest and acanthus capped wooden handle, 31cm high, approximately 748g gross CONDITION REPORT: the finial is slightly pushed into the cover, so it appears on an angle. Minor dent to neck, clear hallmarks. The wooden handle is worn, dented and has a rough surface, as well as a section of repair- I wonder if this is a replacement handle
