An early 20th Century Art glass rose bowl in the manner of Kralik, the shouldered ovoid form decorated with dark green petrol iridescent trails over an apple green ground with pierced brass collar, height 10cm, together with a later art glass vase of ovoid form with small loop handles, decorated with gold aventurine swirls over a tonal turquoise ground, height 19cm. A mid 20th Century Riihimaen Lasi Oy vase designed by Tamara Aladin of tapered sleeve form, cased in clear crystal glass over amethyst, acid mark, height 22cm, together with a swollen sleeve vase by Per Lutkin for Holmegaard in deep green and a cylinder vase with flat rim in deep ruby. (3)
A miniature cameo glass toadstool by Terri-L Colledge, the mushroom form in Portland vase blue cased in white, made by Richard P. Golding and hand carved with a snails and ivy, bears a small cameo glass signature, complete with signature. NB - Donated by Terri-L Colledge. The blank was made in 2011 and carved by Terri in 2020.
A contemporary studio glass vase by Catherine Shilling from the Garniture series, of ovoid form with an internal pale blue and white spiral cane work design, signed to the lower body, height 21.5cm. NB - Donated by Catherine Shilling - A garniture is a collection of matching, but usually not identical, decorative objects intended to be displayed together. The word garniture derives from the French verb garnir, which means 'to garnish'. These pieces are made using the roll-up technique, an adaptation of a Venetian method used by glass blowers for centuries. The vessels are made from pre-fused glass sheets that are picked up hot, rolled and hand blown.
A 20th Century continental garniture comprising a vase and cover and a pair of single sconce candlesticks, each decorated with cherubs and encrusted flowers and foliage with pierced panels, each bears spurious Dresden mark, vase height 34cm, candlesticks height 18cm. (3)
Three pieces of Royal Worcester comprising a large shape 1200 vase and cover in blush ivory with gilt ferns and moulded panels, height 39cm, S/D, a shape G857 cache pot and a shape 1632 twin handled vase decorated with sprays of flowers against the blush ground with a royal blue neck and foot, lacking cover, all with printed marks. 18th century American New England, likely Massachusetts, Chippendale style walnut round tilt-top tea table. The rounded top resting on a spiral-vase turned column supported by three cabriole legs with ball and claw feet. Carl Thieme Potschappel, Dresden, Germany. Pair of large porcelain urns, of globular form resting on a splayed circular foot. The handles are modeled as goat's heads in a similar style as the French Sevres "vase a tetes de bouc" design. The vases are hand painted throughout with blooming flowers surrounding two scenes of figures resting in a landscape. Gilded accents decorate the urns throughout. Applied flowers decorate the bases and pierced lids. Each with an early painted TX Thieme mark along the underside, used between 1888-1901.Each; Height: 26 1/2 in x width: 14 1/2 in x depth: 12 in.
