A PAIR OF POTSCHAPPEL VASES COVERS AND STANDS the handles formed as pairs of seated putti with bunches of flowers, painted with classical scenes, the reverse with large groups of flowers in frames of floral encrustation with fruit, the cover with further putti supporting a cartouche emblazoned with the royal arms of Saxony surmounted by a `jewelled` crown, the foot and plinth with further panels of Putto, a scene or flowers, 85cm h, blue printed monogram and Dresden, c1900 ++Vases - on one vase, one wing of one of the putti cleanly glued back into position, one or two of the flower petals and leaves with typical chipping but this is minor in extent. Covers - on one of the covers, one of the two putti lacking both his wings, on the same cover, the yellow drapery behind the other Putto with a section broken out and cleanly glued back into position but in excellent overall condition and free from restoration

Cover - one of the cluster of leaves on the top with chipped tip, flange with single inner chip, no restoration
