Set of ten Hepplewhite revival mahogany dining chairs, by Gill & Reigate, London, arched backs with pierced vase and wheat ear slats, dished upholstered seats, splayed moulded legs joined by H stretchers, including two elbow chairs, width 65cm, height 96cm. and eight single chairs.Qty: 10Condition report:One of the carvers has an old rather clumsy repair to the top arched rail above the left arm (as you look at the chair). Some chairs have obviously been in sunlight though as the backs are clearly faded in colour. Otherwise the frames have the usual marks and scratches through use. Two chairs have completely different upholstery to the seats, and the carver with the bad break has a rip in its seat's upholstery. Webbing is believed to be under the black under-seat lining.
