Seven miniature chairs, benches and stools to include miniature shaped top stool on turned supports, an oak pierced vase back country chair with turned supports and stretcher, a stick back two seat bench on turned legs and stretcher etc CONDITION REPORTS All the chairs show signs of war and tear commensurate with age, all have light scatches and dents to the wood. One of the spindles in the back of one of the rocking chairs has come out and appears to have been glued previously - see image for details. Height of chairs in dedscending order are: 34 cm, 33 cm, 32 cm, 29.5 cm, 21 cm, 21 cm and the bench is 10.5 cm high.

Lot 33

An Austrian painted pottery figure of a seated frog in a cape in the manner of Goldscheider, inscribed to base "1848 Austria", together with a Thomas Forrester twin-handled vase, decorated with a fisherman, signed "J Hale" CONDITION REPORTS Frog approx 13.75 cm tall. Large crack to the ruff at the back behind reveals extensive re-gluing. Chips and losses. Most of the collar has been off. Body with various small scratches, marks, nibbles etc and general signs of wear and tear throughout. Vase approx 15 cm tall, light body scratches and wear . some chips and losses to the glaze. There are some clotted marks, some crazing. The lighter colours appear to be browned. Impact mark to thebody and three resulting cracks running off from it - see images. Various general signs of wear and tear throughout on both items

Lot 41

A Chinese cloisonné lidded vase of lobed form, the black ground finial above a sky blue ground lid decorated with birds and butterflies in flight, the lobed sky blue ground body with floral sprays and moths and birds in flight amongst the foliage, together with a Chinese ginger jar with prunus decoration double ring mark to base, and a Japanese lidded vase of ovoid form, a Continental candlestick base, the body as a putto, a Continental lidded pot with floral cartouche to the lid on a turquoise border, similarly decorated sides, marked to base "Decor Mani", and a soapstone figure of a fish as a pendant (6) CONDITION REPORTS Cloisonne vase is completely smashed. Prunus jar has cracked lid and has been repaired badly. Other lidded vase has heavy losses to the glaze. Pedestal bottom has several chips to the putti figure all over. All items have general wear and tear to include wear to the gilding, paintwork, minor chips, losses, scratches. etc. See images for further details.

A Bernard Moore flambé ware ginger jar and cover on associated Chinese style carved wooden stand, the body with foliate decoration CONDITION REPORTS Height of the vase is 25 cm and circumference is 66 cm. Numerous scuffs and scratches on both the lid and the main vase. There is a chip to the rim of the vase and also blemishes which are from the firing process. There is wear to the edge of the lid and there are numerous scratches to the side and the top of the lid also. General wear and tear commensurate with age.
