She left St Ives in 1926 to join Katherin Pleydell-Bouverie at Coleshill in Wiltshire, where both made pottery and experimented with glazes. In 1936 she moved to Sussex, living at Rock Cottage, an almost derelict building on a country estate. In later life, she was evicted and the cottage was sold. The new owners discovered some fifty tea chests full of pots wrapped in newspaper. This item was among them." This charming piece is in good condition, with no areas of concern.

The main body of the vase is covered in a pearly white glaze, during firing the glaze has bubbled resulting in a spread of miniature bubbles throughout the surface, a small number have burst or abraded (see images).
