A 19th century Chinese crackle glazed rouleau vase, bangchui ping, the short flared neck and cylindrical body painted in rich tones of underglaze blue with two horses taking rest in the shade of a tall willow tree, the base with four-character Chenghua mark but not of the period, 24 cm high The vase has a small firing crack on the base and pits/imperfections in the thick glaze with a network or dark grey and russet coloured crackle, the slip covered rim has turned dark brown in firing

A pair of 19th century Chinese Canton famille rose vases, each with everted foliate rim, a pair of gilded guardian lion handles on the neck and four gilded chi-long applied to the shoulder, decorated in the typical palette of polychrome enamels with a floral designs, mythical creatures and auspicious symbols surrounding various panels with Manchu/Chinese high ranking figures, late Qing dynasty, 58 cm high One vase has a large area of restoration on the main body, the other has a large chip on the rim, both vases have worn gilding through handling and some losses to enamels.

A 19th century Chinese Da Ya Zhai style turquoise ground vase, Guangxu period, the everted foliate rim painted with three famille rose floral sprays, the neck with applied gilded guardian lion handles over two pairs of chi-long dragons around the shoulder and the main body of the vase painted two fierce sinuous dragons amongst flowering branches with tree peony, large chrysanthemum and fruiting vines in en grisaille enamels, 61.5 cm  Da Ya Zhai (studio of greater odes) porcelain is often associated with the Emperess Dowager Cixi, who assumed regency during the reigns of the young Tongzhi (1862-74) and Guangxu (1875-1908) Emperors. It is believed that the porcelain designs are based on her paintings, produced for the restoration of the Yuanming Yuan (Old Summer Palace) towards the end of the 19th century, late Qing dynasty  Some small rim chips and wear to the gilding and enamels, the base has areas or repair.
