A PAIR OF GREEN-GROUND CANTON ENAMEL AMPHORA VASES, PERIOD OF QIANLONG Size: 35.8 cm (H) Two identical well potted vases with baluster bodies resting on splayed blue-ground feet and sweeping up to long waisted necks and flared rims encircled by blue-ground bands with golden patterns. The necks are flanked by golden scroll handles. Each vase is decorated with six cartouches enclosing the riverside scenery on the body and the neck against a light-green ground. AN ELEGANT BLUE AND WHITE ROULEAU VASE, SHUNZHI PERIOD Size: 45.8 cm (H) the tall cylindrical sides finely painted in soft tones of blue, to depict the sixtieth birthday of Guo Zi Yi, the scene set on a palace terrace, where, accompanied by his wife and sons, he receives guests in front of a massive screen painted with misty ink landscapes, below the rounded shoulders and a straight neck, which is undecorated apart from a single raised bowstring line, below the slightly flared mouth, the base with a six character mark of Xuande within an incised double ring.

A CELADON-GLAZED PORCELAIN BOTTLE-FORM VASE, PERIOD OF KANGXI Size: 23 cm (H) The vase of bottle form with a globular body and elongated neck slightly flaring towards the rim. Incised to the body with three chilong grasping branches of lingzhi fungus in their mouths, on a continuous background of scrolling vines and fungus. To the neck a single raised fillet with stiff leaves flaring towards the mouth and a ruyi-head boarder below, a six-character Jiajing mark in cobalt blue on the base. A BLUE AND WHITE ‘FLORAL’ BOTTLE VASE?GUANGXU PERIOD, QING DYNASTY Size: 38.8 cm (H) Superbly potted with an ovoid body elegantly rising to a tall cylindrical neck with a slightly flaring mouth, all supported on a splayed foot, painted to the exterior a broad band of composite floral scroll above lotus lappets, the shoulder encircled by a composite floral meander above pendent ruyi heads divided by moulded horizontal fillets, the tall neck with elongated upright plantain leaves between further ruyi heads and a key-fret band, the rim and foot bordered by a band of cresting waves and a classic scroll respectively.
