[=Emy] und K. [= Karl]`. Auf chamoisfarbenem Bütten. 54 x 40 cm (21,2 x 15,7 in), blattgroß. [JS]. 1968.Colored chalk over India ink drawing. Lot 311

Erma Bossi 1875 Pula, Kroatien - 1952 Cesano Boscone, ItalienStillleben mit Blumenvase und Äpfeln. Um 1910.Öl auf leinwandkaschierter Holzfaserplatte. Rechts unten signiert. 39,7 x 30 cm (15,6 x 11,8 in). [EH]. Um 1910.Oil on hard fibre plate laminated with canvas. Signed lower right. 39,7 x 30 cm (15,6 x 11,8 in). [EH]. PROVENANCE: Notarshuis Arnhem (ca. 1984)Private collection Netherlands. The biography of the Italian painter Erma Bossi (real name: Erma Barrera-Bossi) is difficult to verify: she was born probably in 1882 (or 1885) in Pola, a small village near Trieste, and died in 1952 (or 1960) in Milan. Erma Bossi trained from 1905 at the Ladies` Academy run by the Women Artists` Association in Munich. In 1909 she joined the Neue Künstlervereinigung München (NKVM), which had just been founded and which showed its members` work at the renowned Galerie Thannhau

Christian Rohlfs 1849 Niendorf/Holstein - 1938 HagenRosen in einer Vase. 1923.Wassertempera. Nicht bei Vogt. Rechts unten monogrammiert und datiert. Auf festem Aquarellbütten. 48 x 30 cm (18,8 x 11,8 in), blattgroß. [KD]. Mit einer Foto-Bestätigung des Christian Rohlfs Archivs, Osthaus Museum Hagen, vom 29. September 2014. 1923.Water-tempera.
