The lower drawer holds a Chinese white jade vase carved as a slender four petaled flower emerging from a flowering shrub forming a base and carved and pierced as flowers and branches in relief.18th/19th century, height 11.5cm.Cabinet size height 15cm, depth 15cm, width 12.2cm.Note: We translate the tablet as follows Chang Chun Ko Chen Wan from which a possible reading is ' A precious trinket from the large Spring Pavillion' Condition report: There are no apparent condition issues with any element of this lot.

A Chinese monochrome pear shaped vase decorated with an all over flambe glaze, the foot with a brownish wash, the waisted neck supporting a wide trumpet mouth, the latter adorned with a later all over silver mount intruding into the mouth, this exceptional mount is finely engraved with chrysanthemum flowers amidst scrolling foliage and tendrils, the interior section formed as ten palmate panels engraved with stylised lotus and fronds. Paper label to base. Late 18th century. Height 41cm. Condition report: Some fine scratches to red glaze throughout vase, some small firing faults, engraved mount crisp, star hairline crack to foot.
