A late 19th century French gilt bronze and champlevé enamel mantel clock, the dial signed Miller & Sons of Paris, the architectural case with reeded columns and winged goddess figureheads, the enamel in shades of blue, having centre vase issuing scroll flowers and foliage, the eight day brass cylinder movement striking on a bell, stamped Miller & Sons, Paris, and numbered 22262, case h.47cm Condition Report / Extra Information Fully running and striking. Enamel good and complete. Gilding excellent, bright and with no tarnishing. Overall very good example.
A set of ten circa 1900 mahogany dining chairs by Howard & Sons Ltd, of Berners St, each in the Heppelwhite manner with pierced vase splatbacks, stuffover seats, each stamped and numbered to inside of rear leg and some with further Howard & Sons paper labels verso (8+2) Condition Report / Extra Information Carvers width 61cm, singles 54cm. All with some fading and age wear. Carvers both worn to arms. All backs complete, one with small chip only. All legs good, no apparent breaks. Four chairs with loose backs. Basically untouched and in complete and tired condition. Require re-upholstery.
