CONDITION REPORT: Lalique bird has a ground down chip to the beak, reglued chip to one wing. Mother Mary: a few chips to the base and face. Table lighter: chip to two corners of the base. Paperweight: loss to the top.

A pair of late 19th century bottle vases painted in underglaze blue with confronting four clawed dragons with a peony, Kangxi four character mark to base, height 26cm, and a decorative stoneware press moulded green glazed ginger jar (3). CONDITION REPORT: One of the bottle vases has been broken and the pieces stuck back together. The other bottle vase has a crack from the rim down the neck of the bottle. The ginger jar is lacking its cover.

An Arts and Crafts hammered copper vase of baluster form, unsigned but reputedly made by the watercolour artist John McDougal (1851-1945), the great-grandfather of the vendor, who was taught metalworking by Richard Rathbone, height 16cm, diameter 10.5cm, and a hammered brass twin handled tray, 51 x 27.5cm, reputedly made by his son (2).
An early 20th century Pilkington's Royal Lancastrian lustre glazed baluster vase decorated with animals amongst floral sprays on a blue ground, by WS Mycock, no.2369 to base, initialed to base, height 23cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: There is a 3 x 1cm reglued section of the rim and there is significant crazing throughout the whole vase. Also a spatter of white paint on the shoulder area of one of the sides.
A Pilkington's Lancastrian green glazed vase of squat baluster form, height 11cm, a green JR Mally & Company lustre glazed ewer, and a Bretby cone shaped vase, diameter of base 15cm (3). CONDITION REPORT: The Pilkington's vase has mild crazing throughout and traces of wear to the base, other two pieces also have crazing, a few manufacturing imperfections, the Bretby vase has 3 chips to the glaze, otherwise good condition.
A Pilkington's Royal Lancastrian bulbous lustre glazed vase decorated by W.S. Mycock with foliate scrolls throughout, an experimental piece, height 17cm. The husband of the vendor was MD at the Pilkington factory. CONDITION REPORT: Some minor crazing, some surface wear to the decoration perhaps where the glaze has not fired properly, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
A Pilkington's Royal Lancastrian mottled orange glazed vase of squat baluster form, impressed marks to base, no.2501, height 25cm, an identically decorated vase with flared rim, no.3031, height 20cm, and a rectangular ashtray (3). CONDITION REPORT: There is a reglued chip to the outside of the rim or the largest vase, a small chip to the edge of the base, and crazing to the glaze.
