THREE CHINESE CARVED JADE PENDANTS. Comprising: a fish carved with scales, its mouth pierced for suspension, a rectangular pendant carved with a calligraphic seal, a quail in landscape below ruyi clouds and a light green pendant in the form of a vase carved with gourds and a butterfly, a seal to reverse. The fish 8cm long (3)The rectangular pendant with a very small chip to rim, some minor surface wear overall. Overall in good order.

To include a baluster form vase decorated with ladies and servant in a courtyard scene, double ring mark to base; Together with a 'Shou' vase of octagonal form decorated with shou pattern and marked to base. 14.5cm and 30.5cm tall. (2)Crack around the neck of the taller vase, no chips. Smaller vase with slight glaze loss to edges with no cracks or chips and no repairs.

Boldly decorated in gilding with a scrolling five-clawed dragon chasing a flaming pearl amongst clouds and scattered seal marks, within lappet, key and waved borders, the gilt base decorated with printed red enamel apocryphal Qianlong seal mark, fitted in a black and gold silk lined box. 39.5cm high.Overall in good order. Minute wear to gilding.

A RARE JAPANESE PORCELAIN DOUBLE GOURD CARP VASE, MAKUZU KOZAN (1842–1916). Finely potted of double gourd form decorated with crashing waves in underglaze blue, further decorated with leaping carp and lilies in iron red, green and yellow enamels. Makuzu Kozan Sei mark to base. Meiji period, probably late 19th century circa 1880. 19.5cm tall. Provenance: Property of a lady, acquired by Dr. Robert Hutton Bembridge circa 1940, London and thence by descent.Good overall condition with minor nicks to the foot rim only. No cracks or chips and no repairs.
AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY JAPANESE SUMIDA POTTERY VASE. The tapering body enriched to the upper part with a mottled dark brown, blue and white glaze, the lower part incised with bands and enriched in matt red applied with groups of glazed monkeys at various pursuits. 31cm highTwo thirds of the upper rim is cracked, restored and overpainted, there is a restuck rim chip which is 2cm wide with a small chip beside this to upper rim. Otherwise there is some minor wear.

TWO 20TH CENTURY JAPANESE PORCELAIN TAPERING OVIFORM VASES. The first of early 20th century date, decorated with a blue pheasant and other birds amongst flowering pink prunus and leafy branches on a celadon coloured ground, the other decorated in the Satsuma palette with boats and huts on islands, within dark blue and printed gilt borders, printed Made in Japan marks. The first 47.5cm high the second 48cm high. (2)The vase with celadon ground is extensively cracked across with old riveted repairs, old filled hole and extending hairline cracks, some wear to enamels. The blue ground vase with some wear to flaking to enamels and gilt border, with a crack travelling down from upper rim into neck which is only visible to the interior.

The pear-shaped body decorated in high relief with a scrolling dragon chasing a flaming pearl amongst waves, with wave cast handles, with apocryphal six character Xuande reign mark. 14.5cm high. 1.25kgOverall in good order, some light surface rubbing and wear overall.
A JAPANESE BRONZE VASE AMID WAVES, MEIJI PERIOD (1868-1912). Tapering oviform, cast with a figure in high relief bursting from the vase on a wave, the neck with a band of dripping water, raised on three wave feet, the base with four character mark. 25cm high. 2.88 kg gross weight.One raised wave foot with old soldered repair and it is lacking a third wave, small losses and minor repairs to the small waves at base, the vase may have been detached from the wave foot rim, there is an old repaired hole of semi-circular shape which is approx. 3.3cm long to the foot rim of the vase, there is some slight rubbing to the surfaces in high relief minor wear overall.
A JAPANESE BRONZE FLOWER VASE ON TRIPOD STAND, MEIJI PERIOD (1868-1912). The circular stepped reeded top with key pattern border, on a tripod stand with cloud cast supports, within Key pattern borders, with four character mark to base. 16.7cm diam.Overall in good order. Some deposits and wear to the interior, otherwise ok.
A GROUP OF CERAMIC ITEMS. To include three Mosaic tiles, probably Moroccan. Similar tiles have been described as from Fez or Essaouira from the Jewish quarters; Together with a brown glazed ovoid jar with handles and a bottle vase decorated with copper type glaze, with makers stamp to base. Tiles 10.5cm square. Vases approx. 19cm tall. (5)
A WHITE GLAZED CERAMIC VASE, 20TH CENTURY. Heavily potted ovoid form with short neck and rolled rim with horizontal ribbed lines to the body. Covered in a greyish white finely crackled glaze. Unidentified, impressed square mark to edge of foot where the glaze stops. 38cm tall.One filled repair to the rolled rim. No other signs of damage or repair.

To include a silk iron decorated with Buddhist emblems and jade handle, stamped China to base; a bronze scroll weight in the form of a seated Buddha with miniature arrow vase with Taotie mask decoration. A PAIR OF CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE JARS AND COVERS, 19TH CENTURY, PLUS OTHERS. A matching pair of baluster form jars on octagonal form bases with six-character marks of Kangxi decorated with scene of figures gazing at the moon between lotus leaves and another scene of a figure in a garden under a flock of birds, further decorated with floral sprays and butterflies. The octagonal coned covers similarly decorated with bird finials; Together with a 19th century blue and white crackle ware vase and a Japanese Kutani ware dish, marked to base. Jars and covers 38cm tall. (4) Both jars with sections of repairs to necks with no further damage below the shoulder line. Loss to finial and edge repair to one cover. The other cover with repair to bird finial. Crackle vase repaired in two sections. Japanese dish in good overall condition.
