European School, mid-20th century- Flowers in a vase; oil on canvas, signed indistinctly (lower right), 46.4 x 36 cm. Framed, and unexamined out of frame. General marks, scuffs and cracking to the frame. The canvas is secure on the stretcher and sits well within the frame. The paint surface is stable on the support. Very fine and settled craquelure in areas. Marks of a white substance right of centre. General further dirty marks and light abrasions to the surface. Otherwise in good condition overall.

Two Florence maiolica small two-handled vases, late 19th century, manganese cockerel marks for the Cantagali workshop, manganese A mark to one and 31 (?) to the other, each of globular form on three paw feet, with waisted necks and scrolling snake handles, painted in the mid-16th century Urbino style with mountainous river landscapes, 14cm high (2)On the vase marked A, one of the paw feet has been restuck. On the other vase there is some slight flaking to glaze of one of the claws on one foot. Apart from these faults the vases are in good condition.

A pair of Meissen miniature double gourd vases and covers, 20th century, with encrusted pink rose finials, decorated with trailing flowers, with blue crossed swords marks to underside, 10.5cm high (2)Provenance: Works of Art from the Schroder Collection. One with breaks to top of neck, pieces missing. Minor nibbles to edges of encrusted rose petals. Rubbing to gilt rim at base. The cover with last remnants of cork lining to stopper.The other has had restoration to the finial, with previous break at the stem of the rose. The cover with cork lining to stopper of cover. Small chip to rim of vase. Rubbing to gilt. Old label to base 'T.G & Co 271'.
Figürlicher Kothon der Klasse W ("Persian Class"). Attisch, 410 - 400 v. Chr. H 21,4cm, ø Mündung 11,8cm. Der untere Bereich ist in Form einer jungen Äthiopierin gestaltet. Sie trägt ein Kopftuch, das im Haar gebunden ist. Weißgrundig dekoriert mit polychromer Bemalung. Der obere Teil in Form eines einhenkeligen Bechers ist rotfigurig bemalt. Zu sehen sind zwei jugendliche Athleten im Gespräch, wobei der linke sein eines Bein auf ein Podest stellt. Mit TL-Analyse von Oxford Authentication Ltd. und Zertifikat von "The Art Loss Register"! Aus großen Fragmenten zusammengesetzt, kleine Fehlstellen an der Mündung retuschiert, Deckweiß gut erhalten, rotbraune und grüne Farbreste. Provenienz: Aus der Sammlung Professor Dr. H.-H.
