An early 20th century Chinese blue and white baluster vase, decorated with two reserves of three courtiers under a tree, each flanked by four bats upon a lotus leaf scroll ground, four character Hongxian underglazed blue mark to the base, height 27cm (damage). Condition Report: Has possibly been dropped at some time and sounds dead when tapped.
AMENDMENT TO CATALOGUE PAMELA GREENWOOD (not Bill Marshall), Leach Pottery The porcelain chess set, one side celadon, the other pale tenmoku glazed. Each king appears to be a miniature vase. A salt pig in country tradition with slip decoration together with a celadon stoneware deep bowl with RR monogram, Briglin small vase and one other studio piece impressed PG. Condition Report: Three of the plates have fritting to the rims, one of these three has a small crack through the rim. The fourth plate has been badly broken and repaired.
POOLE A 'Delphis' style deeply rouletted shape 84 cylindrical vase. Height 23cm Together with a large yellow ground 'Delphis' vase, shape 85, by Alan White (cracks). Condition Report: Poole vase - the tall yellow vase has three hairline cracks from the rim. The red vase also cracked from the rim.
A pair of Art Nouveau silver spill vases, each decorated with a naturalistic lily design, by William Comyns & Son, London, 1906, height 3.2cm (loaded). Condition Report: The rims on both vases are buckled. There is also a slight lean on one vase. Hallmarks and decorations crisp.
