A Dresden porcelain lidded vase, decorated with harbour scenes and raised on a later wooden base, letter D with crown above to base. Overall height 30 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The vase and lid are both in generally good order with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. There do not appear to be any hairline cracks. The knop on the lid has rubbing to the gilding and is very slightly rough to touch. The top lip to the vase is not completely circular and is a little out of shape. This has clearly been in the firing.
A Helena Wolfsohn Augustus Rex lidded vase, with painted panels of figures and foliage with yellow and white ground, AR mark verso. Height 34 cm, together with a similar but Dresden script marked tazza. Diameter 22 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Both pieces in this lot are in very good order with no chips, no damage, no repairs and no restoration. The bodies of each vase section are also in good order. Both vase bases have a number of very small top edge chips and small nibbles. These are only really visible under magnification. The faceted drops to one vase are all present and complete. Again there are small nibbles around the extremities of some of the facets but only one significant bottom corner chip. The second vase facets also have minor small nibbles in places but more importantly one of the faceted drops is broken and the bottom third of the long section is missing.

There are some minor imperfections to the enamel but this being part of the firing process. There are also some surface scratches when viewed under magnification. The Greek key base has similar stress fractures to that of the top lip and there are two small pinhead size losses to the enamel.
A large 19th century Chinese Cantonese vase, decorated with battle scenes, dragons and chrysanthemum, with impressed square seal Chenghua mark to base. Height 62 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The vase is in generally very good order. We can see no evidence of any repairs or restoration. There do not appear to be any chips or any cracks. The vase is very dirty and dusty and could do with a clean. The interior glaze is a little discoloured and has a brown tinge to it.
An 18th/19th century carved giltwood jardiniere vase stand. Provenance formerly Berrington Hall by repute, purchased from the property before it was made over to The National Trust. Height 50 cm, diameter 37 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This has certainly been overpainted in places although some of the original gold leaf is present. The piece is a little loose at the joints particularly around the top of one leg. There are numerous chips and losses to the gesso and giltwork. None of the losses are particularly big but they are fairly numerous especially around the extremities and the feet.
A pair of Dresden style club shaped vases, decorated with panels of figures and floral sprays, unmarked. Height 31 cm. The vase is also free from any repairs or restoration but does have a very shallow top edge chip.

A late 19th century style Cantonese vase, having a squat baluster shaped body with dragon and floral decoration. 32 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The vase appears to be generally in very good condition. We can see no evidence of any repairs or restoration. The only minor issue is that there are two small losses to the lizard feet at the elbow joint which should be visible on our images. The gilding is also rubbed particularly around the lizard/dragon mouldings.
A 19th century bohemian glass milk glass overlay flask, together with a club shaped milk glass overlay flask and vase. Tallest 18 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The centre flask with stopper has very minor bottom edge nibbles to the stopper but is otherwise in first class condition. A 19th century milk glass overlay bohemian glass vase, with hand painted foliate panels and heightened with gilding. Height 30 cm (see illustration). A pair of silver candlesticks, Birmingham, remaining silver marks rubbed. Height 18.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Whilst the hallmarks are rubbed on the bases of the candlesticks the date letter is clear and visible on both sconces. It is 1912. Both sconces are in good order and detach easily. Whilst both candlesticks are structurally sound there are signs of wear in places. The seams particularly around the bottom knop are visible and there is a suggestion of solder repairs where the plain cylinder meets the top of the bottom knop. The oval seam above the leaf pattern is also visible and rubbed in places. There is evidence of repair on both candlesticks at this point. If you look carefully at one candlestick it is slightly off centre and again this may indicate a repair below the vase shaped knop.
A Royal Worcester fruit cup and saucer by Moseley, a vase decorated by Barker, both with puce printed mark, together with a small cup and saucer and small vase, the vase signed Platt, the cup and saucer without signature. CONDITION REPORT: All items in this lot are in generally good order with no chips, no damage, no repairs and no restoration. The large Moseley cup and saucer have no visible crazing on the painted surfaces, however the white underside does have faint crazing. A pair of Coalport blue gilt and jewelled club shaped vases. Height 17 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Both vases are in generally very good order. There is no significant damage and no restoration. One vase does have a small inner edge top lip chip. Both vases have slight rubbing to the gilding on the top rims. The remaindering of the gilding and all of the jewelling is in good order. There are no hairline cracks or any significant crazing.
A pair of 19th century continental ware rectangular form vases, decorated with maidens and raised on gilt metal bases with winged paw feet. Height 25 cm, width 10 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The vases are in basically good order with no major issues. They are both free from any significant damage and there are no chips, no repairs and no restoration. One vase does have a faint hairline crack running from the front top lip in an arc to the left-hand facing front edge. This is visible from the front and appears to stop just above the nose of the female figure with pipes. On the image it looks like a surface scratch and there is a very small glaze loss. The crack is more visible on the plain white inside where it can be fully seen. The accompanying vase does not have any hairline cracks. Both vases have some rubbing to the gilding on the top rim. The metal bars stands are in structurally good condition with only minor losses to the gilding and some tarnishing.
A pair of Helena Wolfsohn Augustus Rex club shaped lidded vases, with blue and white panels and hand painted with figures and floral sprays. Height 34 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Both vase lids are damaged. They are both significantly chipped and the bud to one lid is substantially missing and the other damaged. In our opinion these lids do not actually match the vases despite being the same colour. They do not fit the top aperture and we do not think that the vases would originally have had lids. The vases themselves are in good order with no chips, no damage, no cracks, no repairs and no restoration. There is some very minor rubbing to the gilding in places and the odd surface blemish but no significant condition issues.
