A LARGE CHINESE JADEITE VASE, 19TH CENTURY Carved with gnarled lingzhi fungus curling around a central U-shaped cup, with a single bird perched on a branch, a bat to the rim of the cup, raised on a fitted reticulated hardwood stand carved with fruits and foliage, 16.2cm. THREE CHINESE CELADON GLAZED ITEMS 19TH/20TH CENTURY One a lobed dish, modelled as a flowerhead with radiating petals, the other two rectangular jardiničres, each with a key fret band to the exterior, together with a yellow glazed garlic-neck bottle vase, incised with two five-clawed dragons and a flaming pearl of wisdom, the latter three each with a Qianlong mark, 35cm max. TWO TIBETAN DENSATIL-STYLE GILT BRONZE SUPPORTS, 15TH CENTURY Each cast with two four-armed Bodhisattvas standing on a lotus throne above a large kalasa vase, with jewelled adornments and an elaborate headdress set with turquoise and glass beads, holding various implements and supporting a double lotus throne under a square capital, 26.4cm. (2) Cf. P F Mele, Tibet, pp.61-62, where photographs of comparable supports in situ are illustrated. These pillar supports are in a style typical of the complex at Densatil.
