All on pale blue ground, with colourful handpainting. Stig Lindberg's ''Karneval'' (Carnival) series was designed in 1958 during the golden era of Swedish pottery. Each vase inlaid in Gold, Silver, Shibuichi (silver alloy) and Shakudo (gold and copper alloy), Nunomezogan (fine Damascene work), Hirazogan (flat inlay) and Takazogan (inlay in relief). Each vase with full Komai signature in gold to base areas. These vases are an exquisite example of the company's earlier works.
