Surface grubby. Couple of small production faults in glaze. Glaze loss and pitting. Some light scratches. Glaze around foot slightly uneven.
A Moorcroft pottery Pomegranate pattern biscuit barrel, with silver plated metal mounts (restored), 22.5 cm high (over handle) Condition report Report by GH Plated metal mounts generally very worn and worn through in places. Uniform crazing to the glaze. There is a hairline crack running roughly 6 cm from the rim down into the body of the vase, visible internally or externally. Restoration to the foot-rim with some re-painting of the dark blue, otherwise presents well.

Slight rubbing to rim of neck. Some light surface scratching. Smaller vase: Also chips and losses to glaze around foot-ring. Base unglazed, unlike larger vase, other glaze imperfections and marks, feels more densely potted. Again with some rubbing around neck rim.
